Edited 'Untitled'. You need to dock some points because I removed two chapters.
Changed, thanks for letting me know! By the way, that looks MUCH better. I don't have time tonight to re-read, but I definitely will and I'll adjust my review to reflect the changes
Can you make up characters within Diablo? I mean, can I come up with a new demon?
Sure, take my "Adflict, Lord of Torment" story for example. I'm creating a whole new evil right up there with Baal and Diablo. In fan fictions you can basically do whatever you want, but typically people will want you to stay true to the history presented in the games and books. However, if you're making up most of your ideas and introducing all-new characters you shouldn't have to hardly even worry about the history.
Yeah, fan fiction is basically stories written that take place in worlds created by other people. It's popular for fan fiction to be written about video games, movies, comic books, and other types of publications.

I think the idea is that it will count for all fan-fiction (both Diablo-based and non-Diablo). Is this right, N1SG?
I hadn't really thought about this, actually... although I see no reason why non-Diablo fan fiction shouldn't count
P.S. Jetrall, I finished reading your fan fic and reviewed it, I also added a second chapter to my current fan fic, putting me in first place ahead of you
WARNING: You'll need to know everything in this thread to be in the club and get points, so start reading! We're all readers here after all, so this shouldn't be a big deal.
The Diablo Fan Fiction Club is a group of readers and writers who are interested in fan fiction in the Diablo universe. Club members get points based on the fan fictions they write, as well as reviews they write for other people's fan fictions. Points are given based on the length of the fan fiction that was written/reviewed. See below the Current Point Standings for a description of how to attain points. If you want to be in the club, say so in this thread and link to either a fan fiction you've written or a review you've written.
ALL REVIEWS MUST USE THE FORMAT AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS THREAD TO BE COUNTED!
How to Attain Points:
Points are given based on the length of the fan fiction that is written or reviewed. For writing a fan fiction you'll receive 2 points for every 500 words (less than 500 words gets 1 point). For reviewing you'll receive 1 point for every 500 words in the fan fiction you reviewed, NOT BASED ON THE LENGTH OF YOUR REVIEW! In other words, if I wrote a fan fiction of 1,200 words I would get 4 points (2 for every 500 words), and if you reviewed that same 1,200 word fan fiction you would get 2 points (1 for every 500 words in my fan fiction). Points will not be deducted based on spelling, grammar, or quality of fan fictions, but reviews will have to be helpful to receive points. In other words, if you simply say "I liked it, it was good" you won't get your points. You should say things that make it obvious that you read the fan fiction, like "I didn't like Karol's character, she shouldn't have been so talkative" that way we know you read the fan fiction and you can get points.
If you write/review a fan fiction with multiple parts, like chapters, each separate post will receive points. For example, you can write a fan fiction's first chapter and get 4 points for it, then write the second chapter and get another 4 points, always based on length of the post. You can also write a review for each individual post and get points for each review. Always reply to the original fan fiction's thread when writing a review. Don't post reviews on this thread, just link to them.
If you've written a fan fiction or a review, please reply to this thread with a link and I'll give you your points.

Fan Fiction Title: The Butcher's Cleaver
Part/Chapter: Chapter 2
Score: 7/10
Review: This story was really good, but it needs some work on the grammar and spelling. I also wasn't really fond of the way the main character, Sigmend, treated his friends, but that's just me. I've always wanted to read a story about the Butcher (my favorite Diablo 1 enemy) so I'm really enjoying this story. Good work, I look forward to Chapter 3!
Administrator/Moderator Instructions:
If someone with mod powers wants to help me keep this list up to date, all you have to do is check the links people submit, modify this original post to reflect the new points, and post a new post on this thread alerting everyone that all points are now up-to-date (this will make sure nobody gets extra points for one post). If it's a fan fiction, copy+paste it into Microsoft Word to get a word count. They get 2 points for every 500 words or 1 point for less than 500 words. If it's a review, just make sure the review is somewhat helpful, that it follows the review format, and that it looks like they actually read the fan fiction. Reviews get points based on the length of the fan fiction they reviewed NOT the length of the review. The reviewer gets 1 point for every 500 words in the fan fiction. No points are to be deducted based on spelling, grammar, or quality. Only deduct points if a review isn't helpful, like if all it says is "Good story" then that's not worth any points. As long as it appears that they read the whole fan fiction and gave a helpful review they can get full points.

I added your name to the list, I look forward to reading your fan fiction
Congratulations on once again taking first place! ()

Here's a second example of an actual review. And a third.
