Dude, if you only play D&D computer games, then does it matter?- the PC does all the math. If you're into the throwing dice thing- who knows. Haven't read D&D manual since 2001. I think BG1 uses original 1st edition rules. BG2 2nd...

The Barbarian is from Arreat, a very cold snowy mountain top, but they are much tougher than normal humans, so they don't need warmth.

Where are Barbarians originally from? Sumeria, or more specifically Mesopotamia, AKA Europe. Think the Alps and the Pyrenees
What are you talking bout Sofawall? AC might be opposite in BG from ID: +AC might be good , maybe bad, try it out and you'll see. Maybe you were talking about the AC of the sorc\fighter? I think that ability- cast spells and wear armor is only on certain magic armor. I think

@Winston
You should try out Icewind Dale 2. It's a bit more fast paced(action-wise), but the levels are a bit more boring- as in longer with same monsters (Some of them at least). Try ID 1 +exp. as well. @Elfen Lied You're a BG authority, right? I wanted to buy BG 2 all over again, so I did( lost previous CDs). It should arrive in Monday. The thing is- the guys there said I could return it free of charge only if I did't open the box, so I was wondering - will BG 2 SoA + ToB work on a 64- bit system? I run on a XP Proffesional x64. Don't wanna go on Vista. Answer me before Monday, so I don't open it and find out it doesn't work, OK? If it doesn't - could you show me where I could download a patch or something?

Aahh memories, never finished BG2 though. Played with a retinue of paladins and fighter/clerics.My character was pal too.First time i played-got frustrated Minsc died and threw the CD somewhere -still can't find it, second time it took too long - tried to finish every possible quest. I got bored and had newer games to play so forgot about it, now I can't even find the Cds... anyway, gamed it a long time ago and I'm gonna get the whole baldur's battle chest 1+exp. 2=exp. Aren't the other titles just for PSs?
