I belive it was the mayans who made the first piping, they used terra cotta pipes to pipe in fresh water and get rid of the waste water, it outdated what was thought the oldest pipes by 1,000 years or so

i did hear about the baghdad battery, it is very possible they had this stuff but then detonated a huge nuclear bomb... ooh lets say 1 gigaton that would be plenty strong enough to wipe out 90% of the world
