I would reccomend against binding too many things unless that doesn't confuse you in complicated situations.
If the nostromo you've got is the razer gamepad, that should be more than enough. I'm not sure how it works but you should be able to assign it's keys by click, like with a keyboard, in the D3 keybindings menu. The mouse is primarily pointer and your two mouse button skills, I think what you've got is good. I cant say for sure about binding on click with your logitech but I know with mine I can click to bind my browser-back thumb button for vent in it's vent's settings.
yeah ... at least you can double bind the keys ... so let's say skill 3 still stays on KB 1 and on Mouse button 3 or something ... that way you can slowly adapt to the new feel and maybe work out some far superior method of control for you where you can either use the keybind or the mousebind depending on other buttons you're currently pressing,.
well ... I'd suggest you go to a store and place the mouse in your hand ... if you like the feel, go for it ... just make sure that you are able to return the mouse should something go wrong ...
The one thing that Razer's usually have is a superior interface for dpi settings and macros. How much this will help in d3 is debatable. You could string escape combos or damage combos as a macro and that *could* be helpful I suppose.
gotta agree here ... logitech is terrible at macros / button assigning ... anybody has an idea how Mad Catz with it's Cyborg series is doing on macroing and button assigning ?
alot of people love those razer mice ... i don't ... they feel clunky in my hand, but that's just due to me having huge hands
i use a logitech G700 and am quite happy with it ...
also thought of going for a Cyborg RAT7 MMO ... has also lots of additional buttons and functions and is adaptable to my hands
just my two cents and sorry for not being able to help you on the Naga Hex, though it seems to me far supirior to the common Naga with its 12 side buttons ...
