I wonder if there's a moment of reflection for posters like this.
They stop, just before their twitching finger hits the "Post Reply" button, and they contemplate.
"Did I use correct spelling and punctuation?"
"Did I use correct grammar?"
"Did I only use 1 exclamation point where warranted?"
"Did I use language that is universally understandable by all readers of this website? (i.e. Not 1337 5P34K or txt tlk)"
But then I get a little sad, because that probably never happens.
But then I play Viva Piñata, and the world is right.

I think there needs to be some Radio buttons, with selections such as:
• I am posting on an already established thread
• I am starting a new thread (Not rumor-based)
• I am going to post about the status of Diablo 3 and/or talk about my "friend" who works for Blizzard.
If you click on the last one, it should ask if you have any proof to post along with it.
No proof? No post.
Let's stop feeding the rumor mill. The only thing that can come from it is speculation and sadness.

We better not get off-topic again...I just had the esteemed joy and pleasure of reading through the "Diablo 3 on the 23rd-26th" turned "Racism Extravaganza 2007" thread.
Also, why do Latino radio DJs sound like Dracula?

After every sweep of courage-inducing words, I'd probably be heard shouting - from somewhere near the front line: "Fuck that demon ass!" or "Shoot a gooey wad on their collective soulstones!".
You know...just keeping spirits up. Or something.

After that, they may move onto having a Diablo-MMO universe. But the chances of the next iteration of Diablo being a Diablo-MMO right now is very small."
I think.

Maybe I'm just not concerned about the rating systems because I'm old enough to buy any game. But I would be concerned if content was being cut from games just because a censoring panel didn't understand the context of that conent and decided it was too violent or obscene.
This is exactly what they did to Manhunt 2. The ESRB decided that it was "too mature" and it got the dreaded AO rating. Which means Nintendo won't support it, and lots of retailers, such as Blockbuster and GameFly, won't supply it.
If (and that's the key word) the checks are in place to make sure certain titles don't get in the hands of kids, then it shouldn't matter how gory a game is. They certainly don't do that for movies.
So when does it get to a point where game developers are actually bartering with the ESRB for a rating?
"Okay, we take out the sex scene, but can we get a few decapitations? Okay...5 decapitations, but only one with spurting blood? What about beating a dog?"

"Gamasutra reports that Frank Pearce of Blizzard Entertainment has just confirmed that the company is working hard on another new title... and it's not World of Warcraft or Starcraft II. 40 people are working on Starcraft II and 40 people are working on this secret Team 3 project, so it's definitely another big one. According to Pearce, "Team 3 is working on something really awesome. I can’t give you any hints, but it’s totally awesome.""
I've read it many times, surely before even yourself, what I said remains the exact same.
Where exactly does it say
MMO team
RTS team RPG team?
What it says is that Team 3 has nothing to do with WoW expansions or Starcraft 2.
New franchise or a new Warcraft RTS, both would be "really awesome". Not busting your balls, I've just seen what you said many many times from other users and there's really no truth behind it. Stated as fact but it's indeed pure speculation.
If one is the WoW team, then that's the MMO team.
If one is the Starcraft team, then that's the RTS team.
Unless they are making an FPS or some other new franchise, it's safe to assume that the other team is RPG.
I understand the implications of assuming, but...
If you put a team to work on an MMO, why make them switch gears and also have them work on an RTS? I'm just saying, that if a team works on one game, they are most likely going to stay with that one theme. To make them switch and work on a completely different style of play would be like telling strippers to write a paper on the Super String Theory or Bucky balls.
["Like...a G-String?"]
Edit: Also, I don't mind the fact that you test my ideas for validity...but never do I post out-and-out lies, or anything that would simply feed the rumor mill. Usually in my posts I strive to find the truth and/or the evidence of it. Posting unfounded speculation does no one any good. That would be no better than the one-or-two poster who claims to know "Everything About Diablo 3".
