Well they pulled it off fine in BF2. If I have a computer to run it by then, I'm definitely getting it for PC. Some of my best memories are from 64v64 games in BF2. Shit gets insane.

I plan on waiting until about a month before D3's release to order, and build my gaming rig. By than there will be yet another new line of Graphics cards, and they one's I would have bought now will be $100 cheaper, so hopefully I'll have the funds to pimp it out and join you guys n some 64vs64. If not I'll be playing xBox 360. X/

Yeah I was up at 3am last night, I figured they wouldn't put that 12min trailer up until later, turns out it was already up, I dreampt of BF3.. It was a nice change from my D3 dreams lol.

Not gonna lie though I was a little disappointed that 80%+ of the footage was the three other trailers.. They made it sound like it would be 12mins of completely new footage. That doesn't take away from the fact that the game looks amazing though, I just want to see more!

Yea I was only really expecting the full trailer anyways. There was still enough new stuff and the fact that it was all continuous was pretty nice imo. The helicopter getting taken out by a building was insane.

Found a new trailer. It's short and the first 1 minute and 10 seconds is stuff we've seen, but towards the end they show 3 SHORT glimpses of new stuff with tanks, jumping off cliffs, and jets!

Yup, jets have been confirmed for multiplayer. Along with better anti air capabilities so they aren't as overpowered as they were in BF2.

This game continues to amaze me.

I wish I could use a mouse in FPSs.. I'm no good with a mouse and keyboard, and I don't feel like putting the time and effort in to get good lol. I use the Razer Onza controller on the Xbox, so I could just plug that baby into the PC. Fact is though mouse is more accurate, so I'll be at a huge disadvantage.. I'll prob just play BF3 in Xbox.. Being jealous the whole time of how much better it looks, and runs on PC :QQ:. If I have my gaming rig built by than I might buy both if that game is THAT good, which it looks like it might be.

Yeah BFBC2 has my vote for best FPS right now.. I know that's a HUGE statement considering how many FPS are out, and hold old BF2 is but besides some small complaints of limited sensitivity, and some issues with the automatic weapon shooting mechanics the game is awesome.

I wholeheartedly expect BF3 to blow every other FPS out of the water. This is coming from a hardcore Halo fan.. Like placed top 10 in a few categories on Halo Charts for a while fan.. lol (Sue me for bragging :P)

That's so ridiculous.. I'm 10000% sure the developers will balance the bonus weapons so they're equal to or lesser than other starting weapons.. Even if by some ungodly happening they're not, after unlocking more weapons chances are no one is going to use the bonus weapons again except just for fun.

As for the expansion pack, I agree it's unfair that if for some reason you can't preorder the game you'll have to pay for the maps. That's something they should think over.

I never really got into the Mods, I also didn't have my own PC to play it on so that kinda limited me. I really hope DICE took the hints and made it more open style gameplay, compared to the arcade style you mentioned. BFBC2 was a step in the right direction, so I'm confident BF3 will be no less open, and have a learning curve to help add depth.

I'm really pumped about jets making a return, I can't fly a 4 axis Heli for my life, but get me in a Jet..

Yeah I can't wait for BF3 to come out, BFBC2 is imo the best FPS game engine of all time. The only reason I like MW2 was my commando ninja stealth teleport stabby build. Jump-stabbing tweens into a blind rage is something I will reflect upon while on my deathbed and smile about.

Too bad The Witcher 2 fried my Ati 4870 yesterday, piece of crap card. Looks like it's time to dig into the wallet and get me an Nvidia GTX 590. I'm so done with Ati it's not even funny.

BF3 not being on Steam and being Origin only has me going eh... we shall see. Despite how excited I am, Origin is a good enough reason for me to wait til at least general consensus on the game is reached in the community and critic circles.

EA is so bad about that stuff. ;_;
