I saw the monk Spirit-generator skills damage changes coming. They were VERY good in patch 5. Glad they upped the spirit-users damage though, that will likely have a big impact on later-game play.
Still wish they would change cleave damage back, or normalize it for all monsters hit.
Also, Leap Attack needs a boost in damage. Giant, leaping barbarian, flying through the air with a huge axe does less damage than one standing still... c'mon Blizzard. It just feels weak in game.
God, they weakened the monk a lot. Dashing strike is probably too powerful now. It does more damage than 7 sided strike now since they weakened that one. I hate how they change stuff based on thier own PvP results that we can't say anything on. I HATE this-> "Combination Strike- now increases your damage by 8% for each different Spirit Generator ability you use, down from 10%."
I play the Monk a lot. And honestly they need to give more bonuses to his daibo. Daibo swings slow and does much less damage than a monk dual wielding. Sure its easier to time the switch of your punches, but it's not worth it at all, at least in the beta.

..the news team was just going to patch the notes as well... im not sure what your trying to get at. We want to get the notes out the second we have them, it does not matter who posts them, all you would have got was the notes for this article.

He was just getting the info out as quickly as possible, which is something that is (or was) lacking from this site prior to him being here.
He will usually update his posts with more "lines" for you after posting a bare bones version of it to get it out quicker.
