So I was reading some comments on PETA's website and someone ended up saying that something was "incognible." I use my fair share of slang and am always ready to learn more, seeing as how language is constantly evolving, so I googled it. Turns out it's not a word at all. What are some good not-quite-words that you've seen?
yes it is technically a word, but it's a double negative so people use it instead of "regardless" all the time. Drives me crazy!
On that subject, i also hate when people say something along the lines of "I'm so OCD." I think if a person actually had OCD, they would never use a sentence that states "I am Obsessive Compulsive Disorder." No. They would say "I have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder"...or "I am obsessive compulsive"...or "I have obsessive compulsive tendencies."
Thanks for letting me rant!

There's this phrase in Spanish people always get wrong. "Hace X años atras". The translation would be something like "X years ago into the past". It's either "X years ago", or "X years into the past", not both. NOBODY says it right. I've even seen it in official documents. It irks me so much
PD: Is "X years into the past" even an expression?
