Wearable at level 1, the Infernal Helm confers a +EXP bonus to help you whip your new PlayStation® characters into tip-top shape. Plus, it looks sweet as hell (pun intended) on all five mortal heroes of Sanctuary—Witch Doctor, Barbarian, Demon Hunter, Wizard, and Monk. Keep in mind that the redeemable key for the Infernal Helm, which you will find in your preordered copy of Diablo III on launch day, will apply to all of your PS3™ characters, but will not transfer to any PC characters.
We'll be announcing a launch date for Diablo III on the PS3™ as it gets closer. In the meantime, get your preorder lined up, and begin preparing your living room for the imminent arrival of your three closest demon-slaying friends.
I'm very curious how this helm will end up working. Is Blizzard introducing some sort of heirloom item system that scales with your level? If not it will either be incredibly overpowered at early levels(or just unequipable, limits the value of the xp bonus to paragon only), or completely useless at max level, save for the XP bonus, which may be negated if there isn't a socket in the helm to add more xp bonus, or use a life% gem and keep the XP bonus built in. Will they all have identical stats? do you get one roll per account and hopefully you get a good one that doesn't suck?
Maybe when they are done "adapting" the game to console, they can make some real improvement to the PC version; most notably skill synergy, quests actually giving rewards, and itemization woes that have plagued the game forever.

its 100% a different team working on the console, so has no affect on current patches

im sure they are working together. but they are different teams. the patches that go for console, are not the same as the pc ones, because they just CANT be. the features are completely diff
