Does anyone on here have expierience with the program?... I tired a demo of it once, it seems pretty cool, but I don't know if I'm going to know how to use it.
This is the music-editing software, correct? I just want to make sure we're talking about the same thing here.
Anyway, I tried to use Finale a few years ago after I got the program as a gift. To be honest, I didn't really care for it. Maybe it was just the version I had, but the program seemed a bit sloppy and just didn't work as well as it could have.
If you're looking for a decent piece of music software, try out Adobe Audition or Audacity. Both are excellent programs to use (and Audacity is a free download).

Well, it's for music composition... And I just like to mess around with it..
I also messed around with it quite a bit, and it was pretty fun for doing just that. However, any time I tried to do serious work on a composition, Finale just couldn't meet my needs. There was something a bit "off" to it, not to mention that it seemed to hate my keyboard for some reason.
I forgot to suggest this last night, but if you're into club-style or techno music, try out a program called Fruity Loops. It's extremely popular for those styles of music, and it's fairly easy to use. A friend of mine swore by that program, and he ended up creating some pretty cool remixes with it.
