SALT LAKE CITY — A truck driver who won a Lamborghini worth about $300,000 in a convenience store contest crashed the sports car six hours after he got it, and he now plans to sell the 640-horsepower convertible because he can't afford the insurance or taxes.
Where has everyone gone? Boycotting the new format?
I must say, ever since the massive overhaul some people, including me have started visiting much less, just cant get use to it.
But have now choice, befor, i use to visit not just for the news but for al other forums topics aswel, just to chat, now i rarely do that, and just visit for news on front page. Shame realy what happend here, but have no choice but to return every now and then causes still biggest Diablo news web out there.
I remember hearing about this on the Bob and Tom show. Apparently, he crashed into a corn field or something, and bent the bumper.
Anyway, why not just sell it right when you get it?? Hell, sell it for 100k and that's a lot of money.
He could have sold it for $300,000 had the knuckle head not wrecked it. You would be amazed at how fast a $100/k goes. Don't forget he has to pay tax on that car, it will be a capital gains of at least 15% of the cars $300/k SRP value, that's $45,000! So if he sells for $100,000 then all he has after taxes now is $55,000 ouch!
Took some test night shots with the new camera, just wanted to see what I would get out of it (I'll do cool stuff later when I get a little time next week). Obviously over exposed in the upper left corner because of the timed long exposure (f2.8, ISO 400, 15 seconds) but I have to admit I like how it lit up the mountains like that.
