RULES: This thread is a place to post any speculation and theories you may have regarding Diablo III so that, in the event you are right, you can prove you knew it before it was announced. This is not a place for discussing theories. If someone says something you disagree with, you may reply with "I'm calling it:" then state the opposite (in a non-argumentative manner, as if the contradicting post did not exist)
Additionally, in an attempt to keep posts to a minimum; you may not call something that someone else has already called, nor can you use this thread to agree with their call. These rules may be updated, so check for updates if you post multiple calls.
Edit: if you have a thread with a discussion enabled for your call, you may link to it so that discussions can be had in the proper thread. Multiple calls are allowed.
Edit: The purpose of this thread is so that you can link back to your post (which is dated and timed), if it is confirmed, to prove that you knew what you were talking about. Be warned though, that people can prove you didn't know what you were talking about in the event that you are wrong.
Diablo III, Starcraft II, and WoTLK will all have monthly subscriptions. They may or may not be subscribed to in the following way:
Any combination of games may be played online for x # of $'s. Or, multiple games accrue discounts (i.e. 1 game online $15, 2 games $14, etc.)
Project Hydra is a double entendre representing Diablo and his 3 heads, as well as the attempt to control the gaming market (releasing all three games as close as possible).
Data to support theory for monthly fees:
Battle.net 2.0 is purported to have voice chat. A reasonable excuse for Blizzard to charge.
Each title is slated (roughly) one month apart. We think Blizzard has been planning this, and while the dates may be changed/pushed back, the important thing to notice is the closeness of the dates.
That the graphics are placeholders and they were going to be updated weather you bitched or not.
that Deckard Cain is over 100 years old
that the Sorcer/or/ess is going to return.
That the Paladin is going to return. Though may not be called Palaldin, but Knight.

Please read the original post. The posts are not to be argumentative and you should post as though what you disagreed with was never posted (instead, say 'ICI: Diablo 3 will not be pay to play'). You also should not post redundant calls, somebody else has already posted that they feel there will not be subscription fees to play.
And to make this post useful, I'm calling that the magic class will be labeled as a Mage/Magi.

Also it wasn't redundant. I said that you were wrong, not that "DIII will not have p2p"
labeling the magic caster mage officially makes Diablo III a generic RPG.

As the original post states, this is not a place for discussing theories. You may, however, link to a thread which is meant for discussing a particular theory.
Also, I understand that you did not say Diablo III will not have p2p. I advised that you should have said that to avoid an argumentative tone, but that you couldn't have because someone already has.
ICI:
The prime evils will not be combined.
The demon in the cinematic is not Diablo.
Diablo will be a boss you fight.
There won't be an item that gives you teleport spell (like enigma).
Will be an awesome game.

Warth of the Lich King: 11/03/08
