ive found an issue and im pretty darn sure that its a wrong calculation, i have a link to the example at the bottom of this post(its the top 2 demon hunters, AMMO1 and AMMO2)
ok so i had things setup for my main demon hunter build, unhallowed essence for that 40% damage increase per discipline point(totaling 86),
and restraint and focus rings for the 2x 50% damage increase.
which is 24 x 40%, no matter how we calculate it, that still should be more damage then just two 50s, yet i get a large decrease of damage from the switch, now keep in mind that everything for both builds are the exact same!, except that i switched the control impairing reduction options for the extra discipline on each ring!, other then that they are both the exact same, and for the sake of this example, i decreased the sharp shooter bonus and bane of the stricken stacks to 0 for both examples, please let me know if this is as messed up as i see it to be, or please explain to me how im wrong.
I didn't bother to finish reading bwcause you were wrong from the start....the F&R rings are MULTIPLICATIVE, that's not how their bonus is being calculated....you even have the details to show this in your char planner. The F&R bonus = 50%*50%= 125% or 2.25 multiplier. This also gets multiplied to your other multipliers. For your example, 3440% + 3440% * 125% or 3440% * 2.25
The Endless Walk set paired with a stone of jordan is actually better than F&R, because SoJ also gives discipline. F&R setup = 3440 × 2.25 = 7740% vs Endless Walk setup = 3920 × 2 = 7840%. It's slightly better but harder to maintain full uptime of the whole bonus, which is why most preffer F&R. But endless walk does give you some dmg reduction, it's all about personal prefference.

40% x 86 = 3440 + 50% + 50% = 3540% (Multishot DPS = 172,215,872,108)
but when i try to replace the two 50% bonuses from the rings to add more discipline, it shows less total damage.....
40% x 110 = 4400%.....(Multishot DPS = 97,297,102,886)
now i know im not accurate with these calculations, but if i just add the extras, i still should gain more damage from the extra discipline points.
damage +50%, +50% = more then....
damage +40%, +40%, +40%, +40%, +40%, +40%, +40%, +40%, +40%, +40%, +40%, +40%, +40%, +40%, +40%, +40%, +40%, +40%, +40%, +40%, +40%, +40%, +40%, +40%.
