The 2.1 patch notes state that the ring's proc's cap is set at 2000% weapon damage per second (the dmg part, not interested in healing atm).
Does anyone know whether it takes only the main-hand as base (for barbs, for instance) or alternates between main-hand and off-hand (monks) to calculate the cap? I've noticed that it is affected by debuffs (Elemental Exposure, MoC, Efficacious Toxin, etc.) on the monster, but what about the player's end - do CHC/CHD/phys dmg% matter here?
I will try to test it myself as well but maybe someone already has.
