How does blizzard go about giving people the rights to play on the beta? Do they give your account accessibility to enter their beta, or do you get a code that any account can punch in? I ask this because I am going to be very interested in dropping about 75,000 wow gold on a D3 beta, but if I have to log into someone else's account to be able to do this I will obviously be unable to persue this transaction course. But if it is just a beta key code that anyone can type in, it will be much easier to lift off of someone that does not care so much about that particular beta. Any information would be helpful, as I have never been picked by blizzard to be in any kind of a closed-invitation beta. (blizzard apparently does not care about those persons that were on the original wow beta)
to play beta u need beta key
out of millions of players only random mob will be selected for beta testing
beta keys will be sent to them by email most likely
u will have to register ur beta key to play
other websites and fans (like force strategy gaming) will be having possible giveaways for beta keys
The beta acceptance is through an account. SO you get the beta in your account and sign in (in the game) with that said account. At least that's my understanding of the process.
