Hey folks, I know these skill modifiers work multiplicatively amongst each other. I'm still not sure how that translates into real damage though, and where the diminishing returns start. Furthermore, I'm trying to optimize a new cold set of gear, and not entirely sure what upgrades I should go for.
Long story short, my almost BiS lightning barb died a few days ago, back up and running as cold this time around. I am sporting 93% cold damage, 15% seismic slam damage, and 43% elite damage.
A few gear swap adjustments I can make (plus short term upgrades) I'm broke and re-crafting a lot of Aughild's/Ashearas. I want to roll 3 PC IK, 2 pc Asheara's, and 2 pc Augs. Basically I want to figure out what mods will give me the most bang for my buck, and if I should drop some cold% damage, as I know Sunkeeper is a more popular complementary weapon instead of Azure+Utar's.
I also am wondering if the +Seismic Slam % damage mod is even desirable at my levels of "all skill damage" mods - what do you veteran barbs think? The biggest reason I ask is that I have a "near perfect dps IK helm" with 700 Str, 6% Crit, 14% Seismic Slam dmg, and +100 AR.
Long story short, I mostly want to figure out the slots to go balls out DPS on, and which slots to not care about it (and stack vita/more defensive stats this time around). Thank you in advance to anyone taking the time.
