Sherma is pretty bad. I can do 85's in 5m and under in this setup.Man this build is death city, you look at the ground you're dead. I've notice with Rathma set specially on LB ppl running it to be heavily augmented and very good stats to make it work vs. Troug. I tried this out but all I did is die, I'll have to try it few more times, but I'm not a huge fan of Rathma over the Inarius speed one posted by another user, and troug to get the job done higher gr's.
There's no form of protection even with unity in its still doesn't hold up for the dmg output from mobs one shotting you, even zero passive for cheat death. You have to be augmented and slightly min/maxing to make this work.
I might give it another shot, but out of frustration with rathma's being that even the ability it's meant for "army of the dead" we don't even use.
Ive tried this build & i dont think it plays that well or atleast not for me anyway it basiclly just an offence build insta gib needs alot of augs for it , i think i will stick to the inarius set & trag's
Thank you for all your hard work on Necro builds LordFluffy. I feel or hope that next season Necro is a lot more polished. That being said, and reading someone else's comment about this build being death city, I feel like Necro in general is such a squish machine. I think it'd be great if you could make a video about how you deal with ghosts, spearmen, succubus, bulls/bogans, winged assassins/lacuni leaping on your face, exorcists, even exarchs and morlu that drop meteors. God forbid there's ever a rift without at least 2 of those mob types on every single floor :\ Jailer/mortar/vortex/body blocking teleporter mobs are also very rough without blood rush. Necros are complete bitch to every form of CC in the game :(. I think it'd be great if we had some form like Archon/Akkrat's Champion/Wrath of the Berserker/etc. to be CC immune, or at least be able to not go squish at everything to compensate a little bit.
Actually, unlike some other commenters this is probably one of the easier Rathma builds I've tried and probably my favorite. I'm slowly working on augmenting my gear (just lvl 60 gems) and I have most slots done. I'm only paragon 800 so I'm just running 75s but I'm able to run them in the 4-5 minute range and I find the build with Unity pretty easy. I only have 1.5m DPS and 12.5k Int right now so I need to work on getting that up. One thing I have to say about the Necro is for some reason my DPS seems low but I'd say I have decently rolled gear...

This build is way too squishy, downvoting here sorry.
Someone put it well on stream the other day. Most of my builds have a bigger learning curve than others but once you get past that hurdle, their fantastic.
Too squishy for me. If you can manage not to die in this build more power to ya.
Really not convinced.
This build is great when you are lucky with easy rifts - like butter and super fast, or I guess when you are totally overpowered.
On some adds it doesn'r matter if you land of winter, you'll simply get one shot - and yes, my templar has unity ring equipped too.
With my low stuff about 700k dps there are many builds where I destroy GR75 with ease and speed without having to count on rng..
I don`t get what u guys talking about, this build is great...u die? cmon guys if u cant evade at that lvl ya might just give up now lol...It`s the same with all char wiz u have 2 have stacks or constantly porting...just stay in background of mage`s.
ty LordFluffy this is really fast and even without In-Geom o.o
