Here we have a high mobility speed gr x all other content wizard farming build for season 28 which is insanely fun to play! 5P Tal Rasha x 2P Crims x 2P Aughilds using aether walker instead of smoldering core. Shit will die quick so we don't even need the stackable damage of smoldering core. Instead we prioritise mobility- perma teleport with the already broken raw damage of tal rasha set with just grand vizier x nilfur's boast but add 2 extra sets on top. Captain Crimsons is insane value this season and imo, a must have as potion powers grant pylon effects so any extra cdr or rcr is converted to dmg/toughness! See 900b with just 2 augs at only 12.2k int.

Why even play lightning comet?
Thunder crash meteor fall down speed is way faster than cold and one shots anything on t16 first hit = faster mats/orbs pickup, and gets more value out of attack speed pylons.

Notes:

- This is a hybrid setup using both audacity and power hungry (30% melee/ranged dmg passives) with the latter being better for the rg due to storm armor not proccing in melee. Zeis is better than BoT for lightning comet as you can cast then teleport to get the max range damage value of Zeis to one shot shit on the go in t16.

- CoE is a flexible slot. You could go unity or stone of jordan. If you go stone of jordan, pick amplification (static elemental damage buff) on enchantress - will be uploading a clear soon once I get a few more augs on.

- Missing only the runic circle potion power altar node in the video

- Any follower works but enchantress cdr gets converted into dmg from Captain Crimsons and the static elemental damage buff is nice synergy with stone of jordan

- If you've got enough rcr (On wep, shoulders and topaz in helm at least), drop magic weapon conduit for deflection else you probs won't be able to perma teleport around

- Set works in group speeds up to 110 in 2-3 mins comfortably, wouldn't run aether walker any higher without augs


Update:


Following up on my previous vid, Stone of Jordan does a lot more damage than CoE overall. Only got 3 augs on @ 12.7k int.

Got 49.54% cdr, 47.84% rcr and +74.84% lightning damage increase. Captain Crims converts that rcr to 47.84% damage reduction "damage taken is reduced by your % of resource cost reduction" and i've swapped to magic weapon deflection now that i've got rcr on shoulders and the shield ontop of the rcr mitigation is broken.

Paragon points in ms then full int and I can facetank gr 120 exploding corpses with only 345k vit. Seeing above 800m toughness and resource cost reduction pylons/potion procs would multiply that. If you're still dying, pump some points into vit.


Also highly recommend using krede's flame on follower to completely negate fire damage and turn it into resource.


Why audacity? Just go evocation or unwavering will and play full ranged?

There are situations where an oculus or runic circle (my last node to unlock after one more primal to salvage then sacrifice!) are close to elites and it’d still work out to be a damage increase if you cast meteor in cc range especially if they overlap, oculus alone grants up to 85% increased damage. Evocation does nothing for this build other than captain crimsons dmg conversion and only works out to be 7 to 8% extra cdr to dmg. Audacity is 30%.

Also in lower speeds, 100-110, you’ve got enough damage to melt elites in melee and only really need to hit from range to kill the rg without dropping storm armor/karini which is all of your toughness. The quality of life is there. You teleport around so often that you’d make little use of unwavering will which has a 1.5s channelling requirement to grant 10% dmg.

AutoHotkey is a legal alternative to the numlock trick which I prefer, toggled on and off by the key of your choice to spam as many spells (even the potion which grants a random shrine/pylon effect in s28, if you ceebs pressing it).

First download AHK here: https://www.autohotkey.com/

Copy and paste the below script into a new AHK script on your desktop (right click desktop, NEW, AutoHotkey Script). Name it whatever you want.
Toggle on with F1 and off with F2. I use qwer instead of 1-4, and potion set to "u" so you'd just need to replace them in the below script to your choice!

For this build, the script only spams frost nova and potion.
