Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Coming To Battle.net:
It was announced today that Black Ops 4 on PC will be coming exclusively to Battle.net. While this is unsurprising, given the exclusive PC release of Destiny 2 on Battle.net, it points to a future where we will see Activision and Blizzard working closer together. How do you feel about this news? Let us know in the comments!

Yes!
Can we expect more non-Blizzard games to appear on Battle.net in the future?
As we mentioned last year, integrating any new game on Blizzard Battle.net is a big commitment of time and resources, so we will evaluate every opportunity on a case by case basis. We don’t have any long-term plans to open up the platform to a lot of other games, so our focus is on supporting the current games on Battle.net.
It worries me a little tbh.
Don't care about shooters, and would never look at this game. What I strongly oppose is the fact that they will advertise this nonsense in all their game launchers. Like I would get ads of Destiny 2 in my Diablo 3 and StarCraft 2 launchers... now that I strongly oppose! If I don't care about a product, an ad shoved into my face will only increase my dislike towards such said product.
Another thing I fear will happen, is the cross-game contents, such as buying a collector's edition for game Y, will reward one with unique content in games X, Z and so on... so long this was exclusive to Blizzard games, I didn't mind. But don't want Activision filth polluting Blizzard games! They just aren't up to the same quality in my eyes.
If I can remove games from my list (especially those I don't own), that would really help towards this "merger", otherwise it's bad cross-contamination and cheap marketing tactics that only infuriate this consumer.
marketingwise it wouldn't really be an option. "buy the collectors of bo4 to receive (X) in WoW!" - and what would you receive? a drone pet? real weapon transmogs? a feat of strength at best, that wouldn't really touch the immersion.
also: no news for the birthday still, eh?
For anyone wondering why they would do this. It's because steam takes a pretty large cut. If they sell 20% less games because it's on battle.net app. They will still makes tons more if they had it on steam.
The Blizzard I knew growing up, playing WarCraft, StarCraft, Diablo and hell, even Blackthorne, is no more. But it retains that charm and art style that I really like. Blizzard is a profit company, and obviously they want profit above all else, but retain some integrity like someone mentioned. Activision is unscrupulous and don't give a rat's bottom about the players. They will take over anything if it earns them a cent more. And they can't be bothered to run their own dedicated server service, so they took over battle.net. Some partnership... lol. Steam doesn't have dedicated servers for playing, they are just a digital game store. If the games themselves offer online play, that's independent from Steam, so it can't be compared to battle.net.
Activision merged with Vivendi, and Blizzard is part of the Vivendi list. Not sure if it's a cooperative partnership or more like a take over. Either way, I reluctantly expect more Activision nonsense polluting battle.net.
EDIT: Activision, like EA and Ubisoft need to be boycotted, and no matter how great their games are, I will never buy it!

Perhaps you should go check out the main page of the Battle.net (Blizzard app) forum. Nearly all of the posts there are about getting rid of Activition/3rd party games from the Blizzard app. That should be all the indication you need as to our input.
It's a sad day today, because the website called "DiabloFans" only news right now are about CoD. Sad day indeed.
Personally, a simple feature to collapse the list of Activision games in order to hide them would be an easy solution to this problem.
Most Diablo players are not just fans of franchise, but also fans of Blizzard; therefore, Blizzard news is relevant to Diablo news. With that said, there are possible cross-promotional events now that the two games exist together on the launcher. If you ask me, I think it would be cool to have a CoD zombie pet in Diablo to pick up my gold.
Activision is a shovelware crap corp, so expect tons of nonsense appear in the next decade.
Collapse is nice, or better yet hide them suckers. Don't own it, don't want to see it!
I'm not seeing all the games available on Steam, there millions or more! I only see the ones I own and have installed.
And I have the overwhelming feeling that ever since Activision took over, there has been no developments for Diablo. Not even a presentation at BlizzCon 2017... Coincidence?
No loot boxes and no monthly fee = kill it!
There have been countless jobs in the last two years that were posted and filled for a new Diablo project. On top of that, Brandy (the Diablo Community Manager) even alluded to the team working on "Whats next" for the Diablo franchise at a BlizzCon panel last year. We know something is in the works for Diablo--which definitely explains the lack of D3 content at the moment--but when or where we will hear about it is unknown.
Activision and Blizzard operate as two separate entities, and neither one of them make decisions for the other. Activision-Blizzard is a publishing company, and does not make games. For more information on how Activision-Blizzard works, there are plenty of resources available that explain it in detail.
