Looking for News Volunteers
With Season 9 out with a few new goodies, we are looking for some people that may want to help out in generating some content on the front page, whether it be from the weeks top builds, new blue posts, or the latest fan art. If you are interested in helping out leave a comment with the kind of content you like!

Just wanted to clarify for those who haven't seen the new Juggernaut affix in-game or read our recent patch notes that this is correct. As with all enemy affixes, some will be easier for certain builds to handle while the inverse is true for others.
One of our goals when adding new enemy affixes is to broaden the types of enemy variety you see in the game and the kinds of challenges you'll face. This helps achieve both of those goals while (hopefully) encouraging you to think more tactically in certain cases as a CC-dependent character.
Damn! Will have to actually look at affixes now - it would be nice to have a visual indicator on the elite.
Totally fair feedback! I'm happy to pass this on and thanks for sharing it.

Glad you're liking the revamped Barber! As more people play with this item, there will doubtless be interesting new builds they create that are worth trying out.
It's also worth noting that with the changes to certain items in patch 2.4.3, we've seen players talk about how these compare to the most powerful Legendary and Set items available in the game.
To clarify, our goal when updating Legendary items is to open up new build opportunities for players to explore. Along with this, it's important to note that not every item is designed to push the current best Greater Rift level. Some will be better for speed farming builds, and others will simply be a means to create fun novelty builds (like Manajuma's Way, for instance).
There's more than one way to compare an item's relative worth, and more than one way to incorporate it into various builds. Even so, I'm glad to see people trying the new items out and sharing their experiences. It helps, for sure!
Is it really not guaranteed elemental damage though?
Also, putting The Barber on your follower causes them to instantly commit seppuku and keel over dead.
The issue occurring between The Barber and your followers has been fixed (yay).
As for the weapon not rolling the additional damage modifier, that does seem buggy - I will pass this on, and thanks for reporting it!
Rainbow Portrait -Sir William On Console

Can someone from Blizzard or MissCheetah or Nevalistis confirm this please?
Sorry for the delay in response, but I had to do some digging on this one. On console, Sir William does not currently drop the Whimsyshire portrait. The reason why is because full portrait integration isn't actually active yet for the Ultimate Evil Edition on PS4/XB1, though a couple of portraits can be earned through the Darkening of Tristram event (see here for more information on that). Full integration will be coming with the patch where Seasons become available on console.
If this is something you guys would like to see in the future once portrait integration is in, I'll be happy to pass along that feedback to our console development team!
Necro Can Play with Anyone

Unlike an expansion, the Necromancer pack does not limit access to any zones or game modes (like Reaper of Souls does for Adventure Mode). Players who don't purchase the Necromancer Pack simply won't have access to creating a Necromancer. They'll be able to play with other players with the pack as normal.

Hey fellas,
Long time diablo fan and graphic designer/digital marketer. I would be happy to do anything within the realms of:
-Procuring High Caliber Fan Art
-Transforming Blue Posts and Patch Notes into infographics or blog posts for dfans readers to facilitate information digestion
-Generating graphics, charts, or similar content in collaboration with authoritative contributors such as "Rhykker", 'Quin69", etc.
PM/email me if you would like to see my website/portfolio. Happy to help out in the news drought before the necro arrives
Cheers!
I would like to contribute adult content
Hi,
I regularly spend time on the site, browsing new builds and find myself visiting only to find almost nothing new, so I welcome suggestions to boost content.
Also, I believe there's an opportunity for dfans.com to emerge as a community feedback development hub, helping shape community feedback on wide scope issues like rift density, to more specifics like spell rune changes or item interactions. Aim to promote conversation on the site on specific changes by providing a weekly front page discussion like:
Promote community discussion on the changes and submit the feedback as a group to the D3 battle-net forum.
The core reason for this suggestion is that with the coming necromancer DLC, Blizz may be looking to freshen up the other classes. Particularly changing redundant items, adding new effects to blank legendaries or adding/changing skill effects to better complement existing play styles. A great example would be adding "increases absorb amount by X% of life per wrath spent" to Crusader's Laws of Justice - Faith's Armour rune, allowing a crusader support build based on absorbs. There are many other strong suggestions available for all classes.
Combine promoting new, interesting or meta changing builds on front page with community driven change suggestions to builds, items and spells. What you get is meaningful contribution, a reason to visit the site more often and meaningful drive for change in the game this community enjoys. Too often feedback is given as "I hate the new Barber" rather than "The Barber interactions should do this OR that" and this weakens the communities power to suggest change.
One of the most common things you hear in the diablo community is people posting "for fun" builds and some Youtubers suggesting you "play for fun, not for leader boards" because otherwise the build they created is redundant to play. This is an opportunity to turn those fun builds into viable builds.
The added benefit is that this would attract community experts and streamer personalities to contribute and display their understanding of the game, which offers a learning opportunity to new players and allows emerging community members a channel to express ideas and have the community test them.
While this could attract the usual negativity that is in every community, I believe constructive conversations can be nurtured by monitoring posts and priming the community with each weeks content for the coming week. Negativity will be drowned out by quality contributions.
The conversations could go as far as new set ideas for classes. These discussions are often driven in the forums, it'd be nice to see it on front page.
Sorry for the wall of text.

@frank_duxx,
@fletchr22:
Yey, sounds great! Would love to browse some fancy funny and informative infographics and fan art while gathering my thoughts on how to express my feelings for the topic of the weekly discussion! Great ideas guys!
Post more COMMUNITY content, not "popular youtubers" content. Last year all i saw were Rhykkers and Bluddsheds, wudijos, deolacers, jmaccs, etc.. videos every month.
There are plenty of guys here who create INNOVATIVE stuff. Look at the build section FFS
Useless.
I've played diablo since the first one was released many years ago. Still love the game!! I'd love to help with blue posts/patch notes or even blog posts on the classes/builds. As far as Diablo 3 goes I've played all classes and builds to date. If you'd like more information feel free to PM me. Thanks for considering me for such an awesome opportunity!!
I think what we need is someone to feature builds that are currently performing on the leaderboards. As a witch doctor this season there are 3 arachyr builds (4 earlier this month) that have been on the front page and for many the conflicting information might be confusing. Showcasing people from the leaderboards give those players at the top a little recognition for their rank from within the D3 community and showcases the build used to get there for anyone interested in that playstyle. I would be willing to help generate this content
