Firebird's Finery Hotfix Live
Nevalistis released info about a hotfix for the Firebird's Finery bug that allowed players to use Brawling to keep the set's stacks from falling off. The fix is already, and she also explained why sometimes what determines whether these are fixed by patches or hotfixes.

Some of you may be aware that when changing the live game, some changes are done as a hotfix and other fixes wait until a future patch. Sometimes the decision is clear, sometimes it’s more complicated. This particular change falls on the hotfix side of the fence. Aside from technical reasons (in which some require patches while others can be hotfixed), there are several factors we examine when we consider issuing a hotfix.
- First, how much of an advantage does the bug give?
- Second, how likely is it that someone will trigger this bug unintentionally? Is it common that someone will perform it by accident?
- How likely is this bug to impact the performance of players on the leaderboard for the length of the Season?
Looking at all these factors for this particular case we've determined that there is very little chance for accidental use, and it's early enough that resolving this immediately won't result in stale or unbeatable leaderboards for the rest of the Season.
We advise against making use of this bug. As in the past, we will be taking a look on a case by case basis to determine if any action is necessary.
The following hotfix is now live:

- Fixed an issue where the benefits from Firebird's Finery could persist after leaving a Brawl (8/17) (source)
it's amazing how the cheaters will stop at nothing....
I am Asian and I've found nothing
Forgive me father, I have let my family down *seppukuuuu*
tbh, testing is why some builds come up. Only going to diablofans and copying a build and mindlessly playing the game is ok. It's not my cup of tea.
There are several minor bugs or mechnanics that can be abused to your advantage. I don't call this cheating. In case of this topic right here, yeah it's too obvious that it's not intended and it gives a huge advantage.
I'm still wondering if I'm getting banned again for using the combustion rune on archon for my speedfarm build to proc the fire rasha stack (probably not since alot of wizard using the vyr/rasha speedfarm build this season). It's clearly a minor bug that even after giving feedback to Blizzard haven't changed this patch. So I'm using it. Is it cheating? I would say no. But you never know what Blizzard decides.
Last Season you were allowed to used a very impactful bug (firebug build), this Season you are not. I think it's pretty clear that the playerbase in general are clueless what they may or may not use.
some day they are just going to scrap firebirds altogether i swear. How many seasons has that set had issues? season 8 we will just expect it at this point and when its not bugged/broken we will complain!
Its the only set that has gone through so much changes, fixes, hotfixes its crazy. Its not even that complicated a mechanic, at least to the players, internally idk why they havent dug deeper to make it not have issues like it keeps having.
I have talked about the combusion bug on archon that grants a tal stack (even if you stack lightning, cold or arcane % what should give all archon abilities the responsive elemental dmg while using vyr 2 piece).
The ability to combine 4/6 sets is pretty much intended I would say
The class doesnt matter. They should obviously know that this is possible
