Torment XIII Explained
Bluddshed made a very interesting video explaining the new highest difficulty level coming in Patch 2.4.2, Torment XIII. He goes over the differences in farming Death's Breaths, Keystones, Bounty materials, while making some interesting considerations. Check it out!
They should just have a Torment Y, where Y is between the equivalent of GR 46 (TX + 1)... or whatever the highest static difficulty is, and your highest cleared GR.
No need for more Torment. We can find our sweet spot. If we want to "re-feel" D3V boss fights all over again, we can crank up the difficulty and fight them. If we want an epic Story Mode, we can crank up the difficulty as well.
As for public game, you simply need to look at D2 and take note of its "level restriction". Instead of being level restriction, it would be difficulty range (for example), "Torment Y, from 70 to 80".
The MMS would look for public games within that range. If you want to find a game faster, be more generous. If you want to be really specific, be ready to wait longer, or join a community.
Everyone's a winner.
We could even have "Clear Story Mode on TY-100 challenge with no death allowed and now gear swapping". It could be interesting. If you're not into that kind of thing, you can do Regular Rifts on TY-100 if you want. You can do bounties, Ubers or other stuff on whichever difficulty you want.
