Power Hungry... interesting.
Ok so akkhans clearly they dont want to be even close a GR set...great, so saders have ONE fucking build, thorn set or thorn LoN great..fuck you blizzard. Also, they're trying to do a ranger wizard great but..lightning only. MAKE TALS SET PROC FROM ETCHED SIGIL! You would have channeling builds opened up alone from that.
I always thought the mechanic of stacking up power via health globes that Power Hungry used was an interesting idea. I guess it's been sacrificed to the GR gods for boring types of buffs now :/
(note: I'm talking about the way the mechanic works not the power of the old or new passive.)
At least they're trying to push in some new spells for a couple of classes though.
Nice barb changes... oh wait
So Spike Traps are still complete trash? wtf
Damn, why Gridle of Giants, wasn't it Sledge the last time? This way can't use Sledge in cube instead of furnace as I hoped, since armor slot is occupied by mandatory Lut Socks... Goddamn Blizzard, why did you change that...
Phantasm is more than useless now. like..
T3 Builds HYPE!
They actually lowered the damage FOH puts out...when the numbers from the item and set that will use said items numbers upfront when announced were laughable...they dont change that other than simply lowering it *FACEPALM x10000*
guys... chill?
this is datamined AND it's like the second patch. there might just as well be some more changes to barb for example, or akkhans and what not.
so just... wait and see maybe?
or more crying, it's fine too... not
These notes are misleading, as they only list minimum rolls for new affixes! None of the new items were nerfed (aside from LTK claw, and two items which were completely reworked).
FoH belt now rolls 130-170%
Girdle of Giants rolls 80-100%
Gazing Demise rolls 40-50%
Starfire rolls 10-15%
What in the actual f?
Makes you wonder what they actually do when they show up to work.
I have to agree, so far NONE of this stuff is anywhere near interesting, i mean some of it is but so limited and so random/not needed and we have a whole laundry list of other ways to explore class skills to make viable new builds..and we get this...i know its still early but from the way previous seasons patches went and are now here, they generally dont change a lot, so what we see here is mostly what we will get, minor tweaks aside
You really do have to wonder if they even read forums or get feedback, they seem to just do whatever they feel like or think is cool, there seriously hasnt been a time when i was like man that is awesome and that was from the community! good job!...its more like..."oh look set dungeons....*crickets chirping* like last season
Its awesome how much d3 has come from launch, and its still a good game, but every patch seems to be worse, or at least the same, nothing at all to be excited or even fun anymore, d3 seems pretty dead, and i dont program or know anything but to me it would seem d3 is probably blizzards least-technical game to update and develop for?
If you look at how complex wow is, and even sc2 and the ongoing hearthstone cards/expansions...d3 we cant even get item updates right, and those we do get, we dont want, and didnt ask for, and they are for the wrong reasons....what gives?
Ya, before the last patch, every patch has been AMAZING. And i dont expect new content everytime but it makes more than perfect sense to at least balance numbers of things, IE sets and affixes and skills to where fans are over and over asking for pretty much the same time. And thats almost the most important thing because once you have a lot of play styles and they all work to where you can have tons of different builds on the leader boards. People stay in the game, stay interested, stay playing and will be there when the next expansion or game comes out and thats more money for blizzard. But a patch like this...like myself...skews me away so...come next whatever thing they release i might not be there. Overwatch i haven't even thought to play so there ya go so far, the lame diablo 3 going on is having the adverse affect and making me stray away from blizzard. BUT....also before blizzard has been sorta quiet with diablo 3 and at a blizzcon or gamescon, like last year at the slaughtered calf inn we got A LOT of stuff. So we'll see.
