The Future of Firebird's Finery
A lot of players have been discussing some Firebird's Finery bugs which allow it to reach a higher power level than originally intended with its changes. Nevalistis explained that they do not want to punish the players for using the set and will not ban anyone for it. Read below for more details.

Firebird’s Finery has come a long way since its original implementation. We’re really happy with its theme. It’s the Fire set for Wizards and puts you in a place where you can burninate all the things. That’s awesome, we like that, and we want to preserve that feeling. On the other hand, we’re not happy with the bugs we’ve encountered and it’s become clear we need to take a new approach. We’re working on a fix that will be introduced in a future patch.
So, what does that mean for Season 6? There are a lot of players who have pushed hard and reached high ranks with these unintended bugs. However, we don’t want to punish players for working within the parameters given to them. To that end, the current functionality will remain intact for the duration of Season 6. Once these bugs have been resolved, you can expect that the power level of Firebird’s will be much more in line with other sets.
Is this to say there won't be punishment for people intentionally abusing these bugs?Nope. We will not be taking action on accounts for this.
Monk Leaderboard S6 Weekly Recap
With Season 6 Wolfcryer has started a very unique project: to make a weekly recap of the changes to the Monk solo leaderboards, analyzing which builds are part of the "meta", and comment on those. If you enjoy it, feel free to drop by and let him know!
wiz gr 104 solo, crus gr 101 solo, dh gr 103 solo, ...
Video is outdated, michael already did 93 like days ago
ya...every class has at least two sets, but maybe DH that are basically garbage. Why this hasn't been address come the start of this season with a ton of sets being worked on or not touched that really need the for 2.4.1 is beyond me....
It's amazing just how far ahead and the difference is between the Wiz and any other class. You need a GR97 with minutes to spare to even crack the top 600 for a wiz. The same will have you a top-5 spot or lead in any other class.
Hopefully they'll re-balance things next season so that the two non 4-man meta characters are the clear #1 and #2 solo characters.
This is actually balanced because when doing soloing you are competing with your class only not every other class. No monk should be tying to get to 103 to compete with wizards. compete among your class.
they dont fix "bugs" in the middle of the season. If someone used the bug to get to the leaderboards and then it gets fixed, how fair is it for the others who cant possibly catch up.
This is an imbalance and that's why Blizzard will be nerfing the Firebirds set soon as the season is over.
i just wished something would happen in this game. you can only say a few times that diablo 3 is a game to be enjoyed for a few weeks and then put away till the next season, before people accept the fate of the game. and i really like to invest for a longer time in games from blizzard, so i favor a patch with some stuff here and there.
but we use the same sets for over four years and two years respectively. and we really focus on sets. a character is shit at 70 without a set. the moment he achieves a whole set, he becomes viable. and please don't mention LoN. i really hope they are working on X2.
The only way I can see people not showing up for a little while after a season is to have some type of weekly challenge, but again you will only have people logging in for a hour or two to complete that challenge and then you won't see them for a week. There isn't a way you can keep content in a single player game fresh enough that people will keep coming back eventually people get bored and move on.
Thanks a lot for the kind words! Glad to see people checking it out! I'll have to give Diablofans a shout out on my week 5 video! btw guys my Week 4 vid came out today! Thanks again!
I am just coming back to D3 since just after RoS; found out my Wizard build is now garbage xD I have a lot of work ahead of me, but I love the Firebird set. Torment is the best for finding set items, correct? I can do expert with a bit of a delay when I get really swarmed, so T1 shouldn't be too much of an issue; but any higher with my current gear may not be a good choice.
