Crusader Builds Highlight
Today we would like to highlight some Crusader specs. Drahque's guides are a great reference for those looking for high-end info on a specific build, but these are meant to offer alternate choices on common builds or provide players with a fun new playstyle.
This first one is a GR 90~ capable Blessed Shield Crusader by Ejjb, that uses Combust instead of the usual Shattering Throw. It's used mostly in an organized group setup, but still a quite interesting build and guide.
This second one is probably one of the flashiest Crusader builds out there - by Ludne3. It turns your character into a Holy Shotgun that constantly shoots Fires of Heaven at enemies. It's a great solo build that is capable of pushing quite high GRs.
This last build is a Pet Crusader by jab1012, that uses Phalanx as its main damage source and is capable of farming T10, Bounties and mid-level GRs for upping Gems. It seems like quite a fun alternative to the more popular Phalanx build. Try it out.
there could also be the pure punish build with stalgard cubed.
@Nikae72 There are multiple factors I take into account when looking for builds to highlight/feature. End-game viability and strength are desirable traits, but not all builds are chosen based on that.
The 2nd build is meant to be a 4-fun flashy build. And it certainly looks very flashy, while having a throwback feeling to the one of the first Reaper of Souls Crusader builds (the Shotgun style). So I took all those into account and figured it would be a curious, not so known build to bring up.
Of course, these Build Highlight posts are an experience. I'm trying to mix things up instead of only featuring "the top tier" specs that most people already know about (and which are made by top tier players like Drahque, Quin, etc). But I'm definitely open to feedback from our users. Feel free to let me know what you think of these (specially now that you know some of my perspective on the matter).
