As a preparationf or the launch of Patch 2.4 next week, the PTR servers will be brought offline on Monday, January 11. No more fun runs with insane legendary drop ratios from that day onwards. See the post below.

We've marked our PTR forums as read-only as part of our preparations. We will be removing access to the PTR forums when the PTR goes offline, so please take some time to archive any of your posts or information you may want to reference later.
We'd like to thank everyone who has participated in the Patch 2.4.0 PTR. You've done an incredible job of testing and providing feedback, and we greatly appreciate all your efforts!
We look forward to releasing Patch 2.4.0 to the public shortly and look forward to seeing you in Season 5!
Extra Stash Clarification
John Yang gave a reply explaining in the simplest manner how the extra stash space will work in Patch 2.4. Long story short, players will have 1 more tab right as the patch goes live, then one more tab for each Season - maxing out at 5 extra tabs after 4 seasons. Read below.

Great! Pick any set with WD (even LoN) and you'll be able to breeze through normal rifts (at any difficulty) without too much trouble.
I briefly looked through the threads you linked. If you disregard difficulty and power of sets, the only issues I see are:
In regards to buffs:
If you wanted you could play WD without a massive pet build, and avoid the issues with pets in 2.4. Hopefully the pet issues get looked into and fixed in a later patch.

They nerfed dogs, it can no longer compete with CoE for ring slot. Zuni is a joke, and always has been because its just not viable for solo. Buffing the dmg is irrelevant if we can't use it. No one cares about playing through normal rifts except the casual players.
I can't wait to get my new seasonal stash. My favorite par about playing seasons is getting an empty box to store all of the new shit into it.
Blizzard really screwed this one up. 1 tab (or even 2 half way through the season) is nothing close to the relief the D3 community needs for this massive quality of life issue. There should be a tab available for every SET, and yes, we should have to pay real $$$ for them.
Why?
Because in-game non-pay2win purchases fund continued development. This is something Path of Exile and many other games get absolutely right with inventory management, cosmetics, etc. And, Blizzard clearly has this capability. Why are they not doing it for North America? Is it because the player base on the US servers has dwindled so much that it doesn't even justify the cost to implement?
DESIGN
I was dismayed to find on the PTR that they've added SUBNAV to execute these extra stash tabs. Horrific idea. UX failure. It feels so clunky.
QUICK STASH SPACE ANALYSIS
To get the new wings, you need to complete all the set dungeons for every class.
6 total Classes at 4 sets per class.
24 total sets at up to 13 pieces of unique gear per set on your character (not to mention potions and gems).
That's up to 312 pieces of gear, 8-9 per set of which take up 2 stash spaces.
Stash is 7 squares wide and 10 squares high. 70 spaces per tab.
So that means you can only fit 35 pieces of 2 slot armor/weaps per tab.
5 tabs + 1 for 500k gold = 6 total
So, you can barely fit all of your required armor into 6 stash tabs, and that leaves little room for a well organized tab for mats+gems, etc.
So, in 1.5 years when Blizzard finishes up the qualifying seasons we will get close to the stash space we should have had when they first implemented the multiple sets model?
What a joke!
My main concern about season journey is "complete TX rift in less than 2 min". Really tough when you play solo and my friends play softcore.
It's 3min and should be easier than last season (it's my main concern too.) There are several speedfarm builds averaging 2min (with high para) so I'm hoping luck will squeeze in a 3min run with solo peasant paragon levels.
