Seems a step in the right direction with regards to the Crusader. Would have liked rebalance of useless passives as well, but I will take what I can get.

I think the Battler Rage change is in regards to the rune which increases it to 300. If that's being removed, then it makes sense there is a new effect that is being added?

I will miss my 1 hour shrine gloves the most. It was fun while it lasted.

I was hoping to get more use out of my crusader. These are all good changes all around for each class. Looking forward to more appearing.

No love for the monks? Feel like they are underpowered and deserve a bump damagewise.
  • #6 Dilwoah
So basically monks are being shafted, once again. We're already the weakest class in the game, now you buff every one else and give us a tooltip? gg, no wonder nobody plays monk anymore.

There is always the off chance our tools just are not finding the rest of the monk changes (though very unlikely)

If you think we are the weakest class in the game think again. We might actually be one of the best ones for Hardcore of the bunch. I guess maybe you dont play hardcore but only softcore and deep down inside feel like playing a glasscannon wizard with monk clothes, thats not what i want when i play monk. I want survivability, mobility, damage and being supportive. If i want pure damage id play my wizard, maybe so should you? The weakest class in the game atm is the crusader, but it looks like this patch might change that.

oh god, this makes me crusader very happy!

Awesome buffs for the monk -.-

Akarat be praised, those are so much needed changes for the crusader, having both wrath generators aswell as wrath spenders gaining a huge boost in general.

Before people start QQ over the steed charge endurance changes, if your taking lord commander your steed charge is on 12 SECOND COOLDOWN this is BEFORE CDR stats, and akarat's champion rally rune.

Even if they don't change much to the speed cap from heavenly strength its not fully viable to keep up with groups or in general be faster moving through rifts via steed charge now, none-runed your still got 16secs cooldown from 25secs and with all the skills gaining a sigificant damage boost your going to be clearing a hell of alot faster.

The crusader with these changes becomes what they have been described to be, a slow heavy armoured warrior with a slow wrath generation which builds up and hits like a mach truck and rides into battle on his war steed before leaping knee deep into all manners of hellspawn.

Seeing these notes as made me re-think shelfing the crusader, being that I was not expecting the crusader buffs for atleast a month.

Nice, though hopefully this is only like half the patch notes and get a bunch of item improvements of some sort cause current rate is kind of whack still.

The Crusader changes are much needed (except the Fires of Heaven one *shakes fist*). Something other than BH might actually be viable now! Still, I hope they plan on addressing our scaling problems, specifically block being terrible past T1. It's going to be interesting to see how these changes pan out. I really hope to see some Shield Bash builds gaining traction.

oh god, this makes me crusader very happy!

I play my CSR from day one. Used some build from all over the place, now I'm using both thunder hammerdin build and slow and steady shielding punisher. With this second I can try to maintain on T3, but normally I play T2. With hammerdin I can hardly do T1. I felt whole this weekend that something has to be changed, because I feel like I can't do anymore dmg. And here it is finally!, now I will get almost double dps boost. That's great. I think it will make my game much easier, and thus making it so more fun. Esspecially once I'll find better weapon. But I think hammerdin version of CRS is somewhat lame. I mean I don't want to override anyones experience and playstyle, do what You all want, but for me it's kinda lame to use "tank/truck slow and killing machine" to "run like a coward and spam hammers all around" :) I'd like to play that class like something between monk and barb which I always thought about while playing D2. There were some ways of dealing with that, but smiter or zealer was oriented on 1target, hammerdin was oriented purely for pve, where it did damage on huge field, but I wanted something in beetween. Finally I think we got it. The only thing now I'd like to see implemented would be more orange tooltips on Legs. To make each one of them "oh, that's acctually worth something" and not "oh, another forgotten sould". And I have enough of quivers, mighty belts, belts in general and stuff that goes not only not with my playstyle (Id like to change it for my new item) but that goes compleatly wrong with my character.

I'd like to see some item that could grant more use of Wizards teleport, and buff to this skill so it could be real teleport, not some lame "ok, let me try, oh no, you clicked wrong, so I jump into time continuum and than apear in the very same spot second later".

Some lower level items, with buffs/orange effects for higher lvl player with less luck/skill, like for example and item, amu/ring maybe, that could grant pets 2-3minute stay time. So they could fight longer, not only while you got full new zunimassa set, but also for player which don't have time to grind all over the week, and want to play still. Those players till this days were able to buy their gear for $$, which is now banned with RMAH closed and all items being BOA. I would like to make clans to share items, like maybe you can share with everyone whos in that time in game. This would exclude possibilities of selling items via other sites, so only those players that are online at the moment of item drop in any game, for any player, this item could be rightclicked and sent to anyother player being online (from clan only). Let's say I have a good freind of mine from RL. I played myself on the weekend and found great item for him. I'm done. It's perfect roll but I will never be able to give him it, only because he was out of luck, or good gear and couldn't stay with me on higher Torments - at the moment of the drop. This is bad for the gameplay I think as something has to benefit from clans :).

Big post from me, and a first one same time. Happy slashing to everyone.

One thing I noticed in the crusader datamine section, it says shield bash is 740% up from 550% but ingame right now the crusader's shield bash does 325%.

If that is indeed a change from 325% to 740% that is one hell of a buff on that ability especially with 500% of shield block ontop.

My thoughts exactly... if they fix the pathing issue, this skill would be an absolute beast.

I think it is a posting error. The listed damage changes (550% for the hit, and 150% from the shield block chance) is the stats for Pound, not the core spell. More likely that Shield Bash will go from 325% / 300% to 380% / 335% (same as Shattered Shield, which uses equal values for the core skill and shotgun cone it creates).

Ok where are the "We doubled the wrath gain from wrath generators *sigh* " :ban:

It does sound too good to be true, but it would be awesome. I'd totally give Shield Bash - Crumble or Shattered Shield a go if this was actually the case.
