Alkaizer has just earned Paragon level 100 while streaming, making him the world first softcore player to reach Paragon level 100. This is by no means a small task due to the massive amounts of experience needed. You can check out the final moment yourself on his stream page. He reaches level 100 at around 11:13:30. You an also check out Alkaizer's official armory page here.
For those who missed the information, below is a chart showing how much experience it takes to get to 100 along with a graph made by Vomica which gives you an idea how long the last 20 levels takes.
At first he was just playing normally with no intentions of getting world first, I think he slept 5-6 hours a night including school. But as he advanced ahead of everyone else he started to work harder. I think in his final few days he slept only a few hours a night.
Pre-patch he farmed hardcore, so Paragon levels didn't really change anything for him.
No?
What level are you?
Until you get even close to 100, dont complain about it being worthless... from what I gather a team of players were playing that char non stop to get to lvl 100, they also had godlike gear, and were not even looting, just going to get the p100. just to be first, that has NOTHING to do with how long it will take you to get to 100.
Also, the end game in d3, is the same as d2. This isn't WoW, where a whole new game opens up when you max level, it never was, and never will be.
It will take the average player a very long time to get to level 100.
He performed most excellent. He was extremely efficient in what he did and didn't just "spend a lot of time" with it. He was well skilled and you should admit that.
This is a bad WoW mentality people need to stay away from.
"We" didn't reach Paragon 100. "One guy" reached Paragon 100. That still means "players will be trying to reach it for months" and that includes you, me and 98% of all other players.
It's WoW mentality because if one guild downs a boss in the first week of its release "content is easy". No it's not. They're professional players that wiped 500+ times on that boss and bled blue until they finally did it. They are extreme players and are renowned throughout the community for their actions. They are not the "average" player that's going to struggle with that boss for weeks on end wondering "why the hell can't we do it when those guys did it. Still the content is stupidly easy though, we're just slacking".
Saying "WE" as if this guy's accomplishment some how affects their progress and that because he got 100 the end game is now over for them too lol.
People now days.
I feel like I'm doing good being at Plvl 24 already, but looking at that chart its like I've barely started.
Grats to this character and all - world first is world first - but the fact that it was a "team of players" doing this makes it a bit hard to be too immpressed.
All we found out is that if a Barbarian is being played non stop, not picking up anything but legendaries and (admitedly) being played to near perfect levels of efficiencey, it takes about 2 weeks to get 100 levels. Thats with out stopping at all.
Now, lets say this wasn't being played by a "team" and instead by 1 person, it would take approximately 17% longer (4 1/2 hours of sleep a day). And so, it should take a single person using this same strat about another 58 hours, or 2 1/2 days longer to do.
Great job!
...
I could never do it that fast, I get bored after an hour or so lol. Hardly ever getting upgrades to drop just kills the game for me really.
