Hotfixes - June 8th
A few interesting hotfixes went live late last night. Within these hotfixes it looks like monster damage will no longer increase when additional players join. This was originally said to go live with Patch 1.0.3.

- Pots of ashes in Act I and vases in Act IV will now drop less gold when destroyed
- Fixed a bug where players could turn in the same quest repeatedly and always receive rewards as though they were completing the quest for the first time
This game was created by a bunch of Tals sorc wearing scrubs in Diablo 2, or scrubs who left Diablo because they couldn't hack it and went to WoW.
All in all, Blizzard is turning out to be pretty pathetic and sad. They come over like a guy who made something and is upset because the people playing what he made do it better then he can.
Really give a damn that much about pvp? Diablo has never been about pvp, the main stuff has always been about dungeon crawling. And it was ok to take it out for the time being because of that fact so fuck pvp. You want pvp then go to shit of legends or some other f2p game that is only pvp. It will be added eventually so big shit it's not there on day one.
I know you're very angry and in a way lashing out at their decisions. And a lot of people will want to call you a QQer or something of that sort. But honestly, despite some of your rash claims I must agree that their decisions are very irrational for a video game of this type. Every decision they make seems to be to try and make their game more and more like an MMO. And why are MMOs made this way? No, not because it's fun. But to grab the cash out of your wallets every month. If you could beat the game in a week (like the pros do) how are they gonna keep getting money from you for months to come? Well guess what, this isn't an MMO and we don't pay a monthly subscription. Whether people play for 2 weeks or 2 years is really up to them and it will never make a difference in Blizzard's pocket so why do they continue to design their game in this manner?
Basically it really does seem to boil down to their F2P model of the RMAH which still hasn't been shipped either. Cut every easy way of farming gear. Make the game give you a headache if you don't have any good gear. Result; enter RMAH to buy gear needed to beat game, else spend 5 months farming yourself. Then people realize the money they spent on the RMAH was kinda pointless probably Buy items to find items to sell items?
What do you expect? it's blizzard and their usual bullshit making the game dumbed down for the piece of shit casual players that have 100,000,000 excuses on why they can't put effort in to the game. Look at how they fucked up WoW and you should never expect anything else with any of their games and the garbage casuals. Fucking trash players should go do their 100,000,000 things they claim they got to do instead of playing a game and ruining it as always.
Not exactly, but I liked to start my a3 siege runs with it so I would have 2 guaranteed resplendents (that + caves)
Oh well, I am glad it was fixed, but it was fun while it lasted!
So,,,if you don't got the 10 hours to play then go play farmville? Don't play games and do what you "really have to do"? Just saying.
This change is for good, do you really believe farming pots would be a lucrative way to earn money? This added way too much gold into economy. The more gold is, the higher prices of gear are. Thus, later on, it leads to force people to run pots (longer and longer as time goes on) if they want to fix their weak links in gear since they can't get gold from crap Act I drops. Inflation would soon reach point where it's better to just buy those pieces on RMAH, because you will never farm enough gold to buy anything decent (it will happen at one point perhaps, but much more slower without that kind of spots).
If anything, Blizz hurts RMAH potential income by trying to keep gold value intact.
Words of a casual. :\
Honestly they were doomed from the start. The economy is garbage and inflating rapidly just like D2. I wish they kept the decision for bind on equip gear in the game, as the economy would be soooo much better. Think of all the whiners claiming any "noob" can go clear inferno by farming some gold and buying the items off the AH: well what if you could never buy hand-me-down gear because once it's equipped it's removed from the economy? Such a better system.
Anyway, softcore gold value is broken and I like any change they make to slow the inflation. Sucks I have to play hardcore just to have a better economy :|
Says the guy who is too much of a wuss to play HC? Stop bitching on forums and go clear every act on HC Inferno before you complain about proper difficulty progression.
Uhh "wuss" what the fuck is this? Pre school? Anyway.. I got a hardcore character, what does that got to do with anything. Think you are confusing me with someone else.. And when you know what I did on my account you can come back and tell me what to do on it fucking garbage casual.
At the people crying they can't farm gear anymore, man up and l2p, this game is beatable naked.
Urn-smashing runs were incredibly tedious, risk-free, but efficient. They're gone.
Multiplayer runs were incredibly hard, high-risk, and inefficient. They're gone.
... because Blizzard hates choice, and has no idea how to design games.
Conclusion: Good games reward tedious, low-risk gameplay... apparently.
@Zakarumite this isn't twitter, why are you @'ing me for? Who's to say I haven't done so with a guild? Do you know what I've done? Does he? Like I said, if you dont like putting the time in to the game with the countless casual excuses always used then don't play it, simple. You don't like tough challenges? Stay on normal. You want it even easier? Then play with over geared people and let them play for you. Simple! What the fuck is the point in having higher difficulties if they are gonna be nerfed for the garbage casuals? Other games with higher difficulties don't get dumbed down because "it's too hard" and casual has to go walk the dog. And what's this solo shit about? The fun in diablo games in general is having a full room just so the enemies are tougher...ah ok never mind the rest. The point in this entire thing is for the casuals to have an easy time, not a tougher time.
