After only a week form the unveiling of the female Barbarian, we were shown a close-up 3-D model of the male Wizard. While he have seen a few concept pictures of him and some low resolution screen shots of gameplay, it is nice to see him up close and personal.

In this post by Bashiok, he states that the difference in gender has no effect on your character other than looks. He says that your strength and dexterity and other stats will be the exact same. In line with this, it appears that the background story of each character stays the same regardless of gender as well. Many have speculated that each gender would have a different story yet the story given on each page remains the same regardless of which gender you are looking at. However, Blizzard may not have gotten to these yet considering that the pronouns remains constant as well.
With the Barbarian, Wizard, and Monk now shown on the site, the Witch Doctor remains the only class left with only one gender. There is an impressive representation of what she might look like by Odonthe1st, here.
So with no real difference between the genders, which do you plan on playing and why?
Special thanks to Captain_VanGore, snillum101, enkeria and the many other devoted fans for catching this news and lorenzo von matterhorn for creating a thread on the male Wizard.
Although i don't necessarily agree, that was hilarious in it's simplicity.
On another note, to my fellow forumgoers: grow the fuck up, pl0x.
On another note, I love the pseudo-psychologists who think that being nineteen and/or being East Asian and/or being clean and/or allowing hair to grow on one's scalp is somehow indicative of sexual preference and/or sexual endowment. Paragons of socio-aesthetic insight, they are.
On another note, I love the notions that being nineteen and/or being East Asian and/or being clean and/or allowing hair to grow on one's scalp is somehow indicative of sexual preference and/or sexual endowment. They make this thread 152% better. Really.
Fuck you.

Hate all you want... (especially at the face), but cher has a banging body in that pic
Anywho, I definitely like the armor of the wizard, but not so much the headpiece.
Or the way he twitches and moves around, he looks like a crack addict.
that just made me think... the witch doctor kinda reminds me (the way he twitches) of the skit where dave chapelle is pretending to be a crack addict

Almost identical headpieces...
Fixed.
Well then I guess she looks like a crack addict too because she moves the exact same way.
I'm sorry, but reading that made me... gag a little. Blizzard doesn't appeal to anybody, nor do they want to. Gays will play whatever class they want, they just don't get their own class, and to say that the male wizard looks gay is pretty ignorant.
Okay, rant over.
Your point about her looking Asian/Chinese being? Diablo 3 gets tons and tons of influence from different cultures, societies, and such.
yeah he kinda does. I would have preferred he look a bit more defiant and threatening. His first concept art is a good example. ...But Blizzard isn't making the game for just me haha
