Episode two of the Jace Hall Show aired today, bringing with it some more meat to gnaw on that its predecessor (see Jace Hall Show Episode 1 Recap). Aside from the numerous fan interpretations of the female Monk, scant information has been released (see More Progress on the Monk); however, the tide may have turned for the better. That's right, folks. Get ready for what might be the female Monk!
Complete with the promised pixie haircut (see Diablo III, the Female Monk), could this really be the character we've been waiting for, or is this just part of the Jace Hall act? It certainly looks authentic. What do you think?
UPDATE:
Hmm, yes. So it seems. My apologies, but I remembered them saying that. Heh, I forgot about Ivgorod. That's a cool name, but I digress.
I think that I'm just a bit disappointed. The male monk really looks like a bad-ass Slav, while she looks more like an 80s pop artist.
The shoulder pads might look cool in the isometric view, but it's odd that they are as large as her head.
To be honest, I slightly expected the female version of the monk to be a tad bit older, if not elderly, so I was hoping against all odds that she wouldn't be clad in just a thong.
I am so playing her though. How could you not play her?
Of course.
I mean, I know this sounds hella cliche, but just being able to punch demons in the face and making them explode with your bare fists and being a woman is pretty damn fantastic.
also as for the comment about race, I think game character in general SHOULDN'T look specific race in real life. Its more as defined something that can be any ethnicity. For example the necromancer, is he exactly like an american, French, German? Nope.
However I think diablo 3 Wizard (female and male) looks very similar to the Chinese, and not "other" Asian.
The colour, a too exaggerated, they should of stuck with dirty blond.
It would actually looked like natural Slavic hair, (since the Monk looks slavic.)
The armor is great, the progression, interesting. Shoulder pads, meh.
Not very realistic, with the size of those shoulder pads she would probably
knock herself out just by raising her arm.
IMO, monks are martial artist designed for fluid movement. Having 30 pound giant slabs of metal on your shoulders doesn't really fit into the theme.
On a paladin, I couldn't care less. Since knights of old did in fact wear cumbersome armor. But they relied more on swordsmanship, and horseback riding to fight, and gave up much of their mobility for protection.
In conclusion ; Shoulder pads and 90's Cobain bleach gotta go.
PS: That's just my opinion...
seriously, is great, I think she should have dark hair though, but maybe that way she would be a copy paste of the assasin...
can't wait for more picks xD
Sentioch did this mod of the Fe-Monk and stated he didn't like the pixie haircut. Mr. Cool Bashiok answered. (Yeah I like how he work).

What do I feel about the hair?
I think the pixie haircut is 8 times sexier then normal long hair, but then again I live in sweden and most of these girls have big bust and blond long hair so its kinda usual.
Lol Kill Bill. Now when I play the female monk I'll name her Beatrix Kiddo
