so hopefully i will win the grand prized. and i entered as soon as i saw it. so idk. hopefully i can get it and get to blizzcon. i would love to play diablo 3....and starcraft 2. and then come back to minneapolis and go to college a couple days after hahahahaha.
And I hate to say it, but what the hell is this ?
Maybe that's something that Canada requires when people go to video game things? To make sure that they aren't shirking their education in favor of multimedia immersion? Dunno
This is ridiculous. Is this a Blizzard thing or a Canadian government thing or just what the hell is going on. Its the summer so its not like students have anything better to do.
I never took math in grade 12 and my major is in East Asian studies...I haven't done a math problem in years...
It's probably not anything hard.
I really hope it's a Canadian government thing though, If Bizzard actually put that in themselves, basically all my respect for them was just thrown out the window.
Side note: Notice how pretty much none of the new users garnered from our own contests still post here. They milked the site for the tickets. I think its a little lame how a practically professional artist can come in and jack the tickets and just leave. Seems unfair.
It's disappointing, but hey, the admins/mods can't restrict the contests to people who have been here for a long time, that would be way too exclusive, and would deter new members from joining.
And we can't force them to stay around and post...
Oh well, maybe they'll come back.
This thing doesn't appear to require any kind of special skill or anything to discern the winner, it looks like luck, so everyone has a fair chance at it.
It's not about luck. There is a section for entering your favorite character class. The key is to enter Troll Mage. Those are the ones that will win.
Edit-
Also, it's cool that the DIABLO ticket is on top
Hmm ?
Where did you hear this ?
I hope one of you love people win, and then gives us all a lovely log of how pampered you were :P.
Can't believe that sarcasm wasn't noticeable. You guys are slipping.
@snail19: It's probably because of the cost of flying from out of the continent as opposed to flying from Canada or the US. Yes, they have lots of money, but they're also cheapskates in many ways. If they weren't, they wouldn't be a business And also, they would have to accommodate for more international legalities, although normally companies don't have an issue incorporating the UK. Hm... Odd.
I hope that if not for this Blizzcon, for any other gathering, they do allow the whole world of Blizzard fans to participate. It is a bit of a shame.
