Diablo II and Diablo II: Lord of Destruction are now available as a digital download from the Blizzard store in USA and Europe. A good solution to those who have lost their original CD, as you get unlimited downloads.
For everyone else who brought up the old news vibe ... The source for this news thread came from WoW-Europe.com which I assume means the Digital Downloads of Diablo II and LOD are available on the Europe Blizzard store. There are fans that might not have caught up and now know of the digital download existence.
Diablofans got Tyrael pets and Blizzcon tickets from Blizzard Entertainment to give away to fans. Five of our staff members are going to Blizzcon at no cost too. It may bother some people if the news is old, which I am not certain that's the case for Europe, but ... Least we can do, as any one deeply grateful, is to provide links to the Diablo 2 digital downloads.

I thought this was old news? Or was it only Diablo I that was available for purchase as a digital download before now?
It was posted on the WoW-Europe website. The image on the newspost was taken from the Blizzard store. That image is now running on the flash rotation.
