The winning entries will are not based on the quality of a post, but rather the post number itself. We understand that not everybody is a great writer and we wanted to keep the contest fair and balanced by giving away the prizes in a lottery style drawing using a randomizer.
With that being said, let's get on with the list of all 20 lucky winners!

Thanks again to all who entered, and congrats to our lucky winners! And for those of you who didn't win, don't worry... we have more contests coming soon!
Although I do agree with you on the multiple accounts issue, it could have been handled like blizzard did with the blizcon tickets, had to have an account created to a previous date, as someone suggested
Here is how this should have been handled. You should have sent them all to blizzard, then had them pick the 20 ideas that are the most inventive and/or different from everyone else's, and then reward those posters with the prize, AS insinuated by the original contest post.
You think it'd be too hard to figure out the best posts? Here, let me help. Every post that says "You rock!", disqualified. Every post that says "Necromancer", disqualified. Every post that says "Titles", disqualified. Every post with "WoW", disqualified. I even saw one post with the ingenious idea of COOKING AND FISHING. Wow. A great mind there, I can't believe Blizzard is going to get their hands on some fresh mind food like that. I think they could add two more called First Aid and Riding and they'd have a good lesser professions system going on!
Seriously though, this contest was utter bullshit. I wanted my idea to seriously be evaluated. I could have sent them an e-mail and made a better impression than to have my idea sandwiched between "lolz I tink u shud bring back necro cuz he rox!!1 and u rox!" and "Well I was thinking, how about a Trading Board? I know it's been said 200 times already, but I was also thinking, WHAT ABOUT TITLES? Like, you know, for pvp, like gladiator. God, I'm so smart!"
Out. You can pride yourself on a poorly executed contest, but ultimately it's just patting your own backs. Everyone else is giving you a virtual finger.
EDIT: Oh, and that we should be happy that we gave them ideas. Get real. I don't do other people's full time job for them for nothing.
At first, I missed the trading and pvp part but i like my mercenary idea so, i tried to adapt it
Regardless, the PvP and Trade feedback was an addition wanted. Whether just asking for people to post once as an entry to the contest or lottery, or submitting a pvp / trade feedback the end would have been the same for this specific and particular contest --- winners would have been and were chosen randomly.
Now that aside, helping Blizzard with feeback to make PvP and Trading the best possible experience in Diablo 3 is a plus. It is a reward for all fans.
It is not your call how we should have done it. We don't tell you how to do stuff in your household, where you pay the bills and run things.
Second off, thank you Diablofans for this most wonderful gift, and thank you god of randomly generated epicness. Too bad I no play WoW...
PS Medievaldragon 666 posts, teh number of teh beast!
Thanks again to those of you who are being good sports about this, whether you were one of the winners or not.
Furthermore, Murderface just sent me a really nice message which I'll be sharing with everybody as soon as I get a quick confirmation.
Now let's move on and be happy that Bashiok will be forwarding many of the suggestions from our contest to the Diablo 3 team. Having your opinions heard by Blizzard is the real prize here folks... the chance to win a Tyrael pet card was just icing on the cake.
Hopefully they will get a chance to respond to some of the ideas in future interviews. Its always nice when a bit of conversing happens between the fans and the devs.
Now stand still while I slap you around with my sour grapes.
(Thanks for sending all to Bashiok as I know my effort was not wasted)
BTW: Would I have really been eligible to win even though I don't live in north America? (I come from the land down under, where women glow and men plunder)
I actually didn't know either that the winners would be picked my method of drawing. I was under the impression that the winners were being chosen by Blizzard's favorite ideas presented. I guess I just didn't read the contest rules carefully enough.
Not often you get a through pass right to the top.
In other words *cheese alert* we're all winners.
Yes, I suppose that is a little cheesy. And I genuinely like my idea and hope it is actually implemented in the game. So that was the real reward for me.
Anyway, grats to the winners. I would be lying if I said I wasn't hoping for the beta key and the pet but oh well. Most of the suggestions made were from people with a single post on the site ever (but I guess that was the point of the competition). I'm only a bit concerned with the fact that winning suggestions obviously repeat the same unoriginal things, so I'm wondering if whoever from Blizzard reviews them, will be aware of the fact that it was a random drawing. If not, then all I can say is Lol.
The winning suggestions aren't the only ones going to blizzard. Every suggestion (all 300+ of them) are going to blizzard.
Key points:
They are now going to have to sift through 308 generally awful suggestions and probably give up way before the good ones.
Your argument is that reading through 308 entries and picking out any interesting ones is too much work.
I don't see how, by this logic, our ideas will be considered, that's all, and that's your 'feel good' dismissal technique to an obvious discrepancy. Basically everyone had the wrong idea.
People would complain saying 'omg I had a better suggestion' etc.
Besides, it's for the best that it was never originally said suggestions would be randomly picked - because then people would loose any inclination to put effort and do something that is worth reading / longer than one sentence, etc.
Though if there was a focus on post quality, I can't help but think I would have gotten the pet/key.
Arkeband: I think that there are way more than 20 good suggestions in the lot. There were only 20 prizes to give away, so if only the best 20 went to blizzard, there could have been good suggestions that may not have made it to blizzard. Who are we to judge what blizzard will or won't like? There could be unexpectedly good ideas in there. Its much better this way to give them all to blizzard and let them decide.
It doesn't really matter if there are one-sentence suggestions in the lot either. Its not like its going to take them very long to read through single sentences and move on to the better ones.
