Blizzard Posts Teaser Timeline!
From the color scheme and style of the design, it looks very Starcrafty to me. Aside from the fact that Starcraft is the only game on there without a sequel, those vertical blue scanlines just scream of sci-fi. What do you guys think? Are they just trying to throw us Diablo 3 hopefuls off or is this further confirmation that another Starcraft is coming up next? Or will the long-rumored Tacocraft finally be unveiled?
Also, with the countdown to the Blizzard game announcement on, we would like to remind all our guests to register on the message boards and join the other 12,000+ Diablo3.com members in the countdown. This will also ensure that you are notified via email once the big announcement is made.

and we get no patches...
it's like blizzards dead. and all their lead guys left for other games.
I seriously doubt that. Announcing two major titles at one time will cause there teams to be under tremendous pressure. They would have to cut corners in production and this could lead to a poorly designed, uninteresting game. I'd much rather have them focus on one game now and another when the first is near release. Order of games doesn't matter to me.
@Announcement:
Let's face it, there just aren't any great RTS's out currently. The only one that I played that actually kept me interested for more than a few days was Company of Heroes. If you have a beefy system, I HIGHLY advise you check it out. Other than that, nothing in the last few years has really had runaway success or staying power. Releasing an RTS would be great for the gaming market. As for RPG's, there have been tons out recently are that I would consider pretty good. Two Worlds comes out in 14 days and that game imo is shitloads of fun. Think Oblivion and Gothic 3 with darker, more arcade gameplay. Titan Quest was a big success commercially, Sacred 2 is in development, the sequel to Divine Divinity just moved into full on production (Divine Divinity is arguably one of the best isometric rpg's to ever grace this Earth and if you haven't played it you must go buy it. It can be had for $5 now. Stay away from Beyond Divinity though because they totally fucked that one up). Fact is, the action oriented RPG market is saturated with good titles while the RTS genre is seriously lacking. Blizzard will be well recieved either way but an RTS just makes more sense. God knows they've had a long enough time to come up with innovative ideas.
I'd be willing to bet a large sum of money on SC2. Any takers?
Also, towards the person who posted that lame video claiming it was me, grow up loser. Talk to me in real-time if you've got something to say.

NEWS: "News: Blizzard Confirms StarCraft: Ghost Postponed "Indefinitely"
Blizzard to focus on next-gen console design, Starcraft: Ghost delayed "indefinitely"
OKAY NEVERMIND..
THIS ENTIRE POST WAS WRONG..lmao
I don't think announcing two games is that doubtful. They would have two seperate teams working independently of each other since both games are un related. I think its fine announcing them both at the same time, and then maybe release them 6 months or so apart. I would probably buy both, and im sure alot of other big blizzard fans would as well.
As for CoH being the only good RTS, it is true that it is loads of fun and a great use of the Ragdoll. But i would add C&C 3 to the list of good RTS's. I find that game very fun, only problem is its an EA game so it naturally rapes resources.
any proof on this? i wanna know so that i can get better at WoW and kill me some cows in WoW as well as Diablo.
That can't be real, theres no way they would release it now, after it was "postponed," especially on Xbox, PS2, and GC. That is just a waste of time and materials.
C&C 3 is'nt a good game. It's not innovative. It's pretty but thats about it. The only staying power it has is the fact that it is easily modified. And it's not even a resource hog. What system's do the people here have that they have hard time with games like C&C3. Save up $800 (not hard) and build a system that can play any game out there (also not hard).
Well i've always had trouble with EA games. I don't know what it is. I can run Half Life 2 and Guild Wars at full specs, but Battlefield and C&C will just not run right. It may be that they are not compatible with dual core processors and cannot use them to their full advantage.
As for C&C 3 not being innovative, i guess you are right there, from what ive seen from the old C&C's, it is not much different But not being a huge C&C fan i really enjoy it. Never played any of the previous ones exept Generals.
My system is a 2.4 ghz dual core AMD processor with 2 gigs of ram and a nVidia 7800 Go GTX. (Laptop, so heat may have an issue with it, cpu throttling and all, but again, i dont have trouble with non-EA games)
We do intend to announce a new product at the Worldwide Invitational next month in Korea, and we appreciate the enthusiasm and interest in getting an advance look at what that will be, but players will have to wait until May 19th to find out more. Also, we have a very strong connection with the characters and settings of StarCraft, and we do plan to revisit that universe at some point in the future, but we don't have anything new to announce in that regard at present.
there it is in red, as the first line says it will be a new product.
thats friggin hilarious
cows must suck in WoW
theyre probably spherical like in williw wonka
that blueberry girl
that rolls out..
thats the cow with there
wow thats a lot of "that"s
a new product doesnt have to be new game...
it can be a new product as in a starcraft hat..for exaple
d3 would be a new product
and so would starcraft 2
blizzard makes its words so generic, its not even funny.
p.s. yes i like the enter button
it gives me erections.
That also kinda eliminates everyone's idea that there may be multiple titles announced (yeah, mine too.) Unless of course by new product they mean one in particular...and another on the side :D. One can only hope.
no enters, you happy? lol
Yeah, the "one" product could be diablo 3. But i'm starting to think if blizzard wants to get out of korea without any casualties they will announce a SC related game...just my thought.
for fucks sake. read the damned post.
p.s. welcome to the forums [though its been liek 20 days now, lol. u still count as a noob ^_^]
Yeah, i popped in here every now and then over the past few months. Didn't create an account until the news post about the quote by the Blizz employee about the "announcement." Anyways, thanks for the welcome :).
the keyword is new, maybe you dont know what that means......
