Make sure to cross out Wizard. There's only Firebird's, a couple of viable fire spells and endless kiting. I hate dealing no direct damage, so I run with endless meteor spam, which is lacking.
I really hope that this set will make MM and Arcane Orb viable. Back at the beginning of Vanilla D3 I started playing with these skills and it's a shame that AO turned out to be inferior to Meteor in every way. I like Meteor, but build diversity is paramount to D3.
I look forward to playing Arcane builds in 2.2, but for the sake of build diversity the damage Slow TIme deals with Magnum Opus should really depend on the highest +elemental damage.
Too bad the set only has 6 items, unlike Firebirds with 7 as we'll definitely want to equip the headpiece that enables all Slow Time runes. Thus, sadly, RoRG becomes mandatory.
I guess they were referring to creating a new legendary item with ideas from the community.
Has anyone made a screenshot of a whiteboard from Legendary Workshop panel, where the ideas were written? The ones highlighted in green were approved by the devs and might be implemented into the game at some point.
Can anyone please post a screenshot of a magnetic whiteboard close-up from Blizzcon's Legendary Workshop? The one where various ideas for new legendary items were written. The ideas highlighted in green marker were said to be approved for possible implementation in game. Sadly, I couldn't read them all.
As for Tal Rasha's, I think the bonus is fine because Wizard is being redesigned to get lots of choice of elements among their spells. Plus, the lvl70 passive, which makes enemies more vulnerable to all damage the more elements the Wizard has attacked with, it really sinergizes with Tal Rasha's set.
Looks like there will be at least 2 major Wizard builds - Frost-Fire-Lightning Elementalist build with Tal Rasha set and Arcane weapon and also an Arcanist build, that focuses on Arcane damage that buffs itself plus super-charged Archon with Arcane Wraps set.
