    I don't play season, but I think Ranslor Foly only affects normal mobs (ie. neither champion nor elite).

    It depends on your build. If you use the "classic" AW build with Meteor Shower, I suggest you reroll vitality to RCR.

    Oupsss... Sorry, this is a mistake from my part. How can I be so bad doing such a basic thing ? ;)

    I update the data right now.

    I fixed that for you. So, there's nothing strange or mysterious about your numbers there. May want to update the OP as that's the only glaring inconsistency in your data.
    I have done this particular GR (7:06 remaining @ GR31 -> GR35 (+3)) myself, and I checked the results many times before writing them as they seem very unusual to me too. I wouldn't like to update the data in the OP, it's too easy to modify things when they don't suit you ;) If this particular GR remains the only one not in par with the others, I will mention it in the OP.

    I think you misread the numbers, because the time I mentioned is the time remaining at the end of the GR, not the time used. I will edit the original post to make it clear.

    To use your terminology with the data I have :
    • Finish in 8:00 @ GR30 -> GR34 (+4)
    • Finish in 7:54 @ GR31 -> GR35 (+3)
    So I think it confirmes the GR level as a parameter.

    The GR level you are in has an impact on the GR level you will gain, confirmed by :
    • 7:00 @ GR30 -> GR34 (+4)
    • 7:06 @ GR31 -> GR35 (+3)
    6 secondes less to complete the GR, but 1 level less on the key. The only difference is the GR level I was doing, all other parameters were the same (solo games, same toon, etc.).

    Now, finding a formula with our data is another challenge...

    It's seems more complex than what has been said :
    • 7:06 @ GR31 -> GR35 (+3)
    • 7:19 @ GR24 -> GR28 (+4)
    Which means either there is a step which is not a multiple of 30 sec, either the GR level is a parameter.

    Let's continue to gather numbers.

    Maybe could we gather some accurate data to see where it leads ? I'll centralise them in the original post.

    All I need is :
    - the GR level you're currently doing (it may have an impact),
    - the time left you get at the end,
    - the level of the GR you get in reward.

    Something like (real data) 5:49 @ GR31 -> GR33 (+2).

    Hi D3Fans,

    When finishing a Greater Rift, I'll advance for more than one level if I beat the timer by more than 4 min 30 sec. Does anyone know what are the "steps" in that progression ? (I'll advance for 2 levels between 4:30 and X, for 3 levels between X and Z, etc.).

    I'm not a hardcore enough player to do the tests by myself and I didn't find anything accurate while brownsing the web.

    I'll gather here the accurate data I'll get.

    Data gathered : [time left] @ [GR level you're doing] -> [GR level you get in reward] ([number of levels gained])
    Last update : 07/01/2015
    • <4:30 remaining @ any level -> +1
    • 5:02 remaining @ GR33 -> GR35 (+2)
    • 5:49 remaining @ GR31 -> GR33 (+2)
    • 5:59 remaining @ GR26 -> GR28 (+2)
    • 6:08 remaining @ GR30 -> GR33 (+3)
    • 6:57 remaining @ GR1 -> GR4 (+3)
    • 7:00 remaining @ GR30 -> GR34 (+4)
    • 7:06 remaining @ GR31 -> GR35 (+4)
    • 7:15 remaining @ GR4 -> GR8 (+4)
    • 7:19 remaining @ GR24 -> GR28 (+4)
    • 7:25 remaining @ GR28 -> GR32 (+4)
    • 7:29 remaining @ GR27 -> GR31 (+4)
    • 7:45 remaining @ GR27 -> GR31 (+4)
    • 8:54 remaining @ GR22 -> GR27 (+5)
    • 9:34 remaining @ GR31 -> GR37 (+6)
    • 9:37 remaining @ GR53 -> GR59 (+6)
    • 10:03 remaining @ GR15 -> GR22 (+7)
    • 10:09 remaining @ GR8 -> GR15 (+7)
    • 11:08 remaining @ GR1 -> GR10 (+9)
    • 12:34 remaining @ GR1 -> GR11 (+10)
    Where it seems to lead :
    Time Remaining____ Lvls gained
    <4:30 ________________1
    4:30-5:59 _____________2
    6:00-6:59 _____________3
    7:00-7:59 _____________4
    8:00-8:59 _____________5
    9:00-9:59 _____________6

    Have fun !

    I don't have to kite the charging bulls but they hurt pretty bad. I think the non-elite hits me for about half my health. Then again I have quite a bit of physical resist, which is probably the damage type they deal.
    Yes, I was talking about the elite ones that have to be kited. The non-elite took me nearly 20k HP when they charge, their are not a real concern.

    I never tried Ice armor because I like the idea that my defensive skills help me to do damage, and I don't have Cold Blooded passive. I'll maybe give it a try in place of Galvanizing Ward.
