Demonic essences also carry over, so those are also worth saving to some extend I guess. Not sure how much of those, or how much gold would be good to have. I'm saving around 500mil gold and 500 demonics. The leftovers I will be crafting with.
As far as I know, you can still reroll rare legacy items. But I read somewhere it's no longer possible to reroll stats on legacy legendaries. Which now makes a lot of top gear obselete. I was holding on to my mempo cause it was still very hard to get upgrades there from what I saw. But seems you can't count on ANYTHING anymore. They change stuff so much that it's almost impossible to prepare for RoS. Just earn paragon and forget about the rest.
You have to think that they are banking on getting all the players who quit back. And people don't like to play at a disadvantage to the rest of the community, so they do everything they can to even the playing field, making it as hard as possible for us to gain any sort of advantage grinding it out up untill RoS hits.

I think your post is pretty pointless without a profile link..Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary

I would not waste gold on gems. Especially if your gem cost start to surpass gear cost. You can get a lot more stats from investing in proper gear. Then upgrade gems when you can afford.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
btw, wtf is a "hooker"?

All you need to know about monk gearing. Have fun!
Quick tips. You are a OWE monk, but your resistance on gear is totally messed up. ALl over the place, pick one and stick with it. Then learn to put dual/single res in the right slots. For instance, dual res on boots (because u can't get more than 100vit, and 50+ single res is a lot better EHP. In return in the future you want high vit pants, because a cap of 200 vit is a lot better than max 80 all res or 60 single res.
You are dual wielding monk, so AVG dmg is king. Get a high avg dmg nat ring and unity.
You are SERIOUSLY lacking life. you need as much vit on your chest as you can afford and craft some decent bracers with 4.5+ cc, 60+ vit 50+ single res (preferebly dual res).
You are also running ZERO LIFE STEAL (lol). How do you plan on surviving? Healthglobes? Time to change weapons to dual life steal. Basically your EHP stats are in wrong slots, too little of it, and you got no sustainability via life steal. You got a lot of work ahead of you. Read through Jovi's gear guide and you will learn a lot hopefully.

You want high dual res on boots obviously. as equal ammount of all res always outperfom vit. So basically move the res from chest to boots, so you can boost chest with 150 more vit. And as high vit on pants as you can afford. Gems are fine as well.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
Your goal is to drop serenity, and you need to sort out your ehp to do that. Single life steal under 200k dps unbuffed and slow attack speed you are way too squishy imo.
short 300 vit. You got 0 resist on bracers, which is a slot you normally want high dual res. You don't need the movement speed there anyway and lacuni that outperform crafted are silly expensive. You can easy get DPS upgrade and EHP in bracers.
Getting dual res there allow you to remove res from rare ring and move to an attack speed unity. Should be nice DPS uppgrade and survivability from LoH. Not to forget 3-4% dps increase vs elite which is quite substantial.
Usually I don't recommend singe life steal before you are at least around 200k dps unbuffed WKL or higher with swords. You are 25k dps short of that AND you got way too low vit. I like res to be around 600+ so I guess you are close to that. It's just in wrong slots atm..
Also you have only 5% reduced from melee on both chest and boots, when you upgrade boots to dual res and chest to high vit, make sure both are 6%. 2% extra pure damage reduction is quite a lot.

I think very big majority is jumping on the bandwagon and haven't thought about the consequences of AH dissapearing from the game in its current state.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

I don't understand the unsafe part here or people's dislike for 3rd party trading. They facilitate a trade between two players that can be done IN GAME AND 100% SAFE. I have not heard about ANYONE being scammed in trade window after they fixed it a year ago.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Only people that don't pay attention. But it's not possible to get scammed if you don't want to.

One of the main reasons people disliked the AH was because ingame drops were SHIT.. 99% is vendor trash and you are forced to use AH to make any serious progress. With loot 2.0 that is no longer the case.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
But we still use AH for many usefull things. Such as buying gear for followers, trying out new builds, making starter/mid-level gear sets for alts, friends, "customers". Getting mats easy because we can't be bothered farming blue items to craft for example.
That also allow really poor players to feed market which such items and help them progress little faster. AH has many many good things about it but you only focus on stupid things. Underlying things that are being addressed already with new game features like loot 2.0/smart loot.
I think it was really bad idea to remove AH. if you are unhappy with it... have you tried NOT USING IT? It's OPTIONAL. Why should that hinder the hundreds of thousands that had joy from using it. With new features a lot less people would use AH and no one should really NEED it. But it's a nice convenient feature for many aspects of the game.
There is another aspect as well that invis touched upon in a recent video. AH is a great place to window shop. Where you can see high end items. Something to drool over and look forward to. A guideline to what items are really good. After all the game is about gearing your char when it comes down to it =)

Well anyway, more to the point of OP's "d2jsp to take ah's place?" and obviously that is ludicris. If you want something like AH to be replaced it would be much better with a site like loothunter. As I said before, just add option to bid directly there and add comments and you got much better system than d2jsp.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
But some of you don't like to use 3rd party sites of any kind to do anything. (ya right).
