Not much you can do except stack Area DMG on some gear and increase paragon.

This build isn't really meant for GR80+ imo.

best is to change HDD to a SSD and reinstall windows. It's most likely HDD that is failing, cause otherwise it woujldn't corrupt files. And when HDD start to fail its gameover.

But if you have to buy a new system you have buy an SSD anyway, so the best sollution is to get the SSD now, and if it works great, Don't need to buy whole new system, and with an SSD upgrade your PC will feel like new anyway.

well Try to find the culprit in the system. maybe you just need new powersupply :) It's usually just 1 component that dies. so if you are don't have money for a brand new system, try to find out whats wrong and change that component.

posted a message on 1 week later, finish for rifts again

Depends on how you approach the game. For a lot of players the point of the game is to progress. Now with the 2.3 patch they made it so easy that after a week most competent players are doing the high level GR's with maxed out gear. But it shouldn't come to anyones surprise. I'm not sure with blizzards limited resource to this game, that the D3 team can do much more than they have. Introduce the cube as well as new sets to try and make more builds and combinations available has helped diversify high level competetive builds. Which is what people wanted. It will probably keep most players happy for a while but some part of the playerbaseyou just can't satisfy. They progress to the highest level as fast as possible then get bored cause there is not more to do.

That's just how it is. Most games are not meant to be played or last forever. That's why they have seasons - but it's really hard to guard against the hardcore players who play 24/7 the first week playing 120% optimal to reach endgame.

Did I say endgame? I must be dillusional. There is no endgame in D3, the endgame is paragon farming for more mainstat.

If that's your goal in this game, I can understand why you get bored fast. To enjoy this game I believe you need to look elsewhere than just solo'ing for a high GR.

posted a message on Diablo 3 Stream...failing at it, it seems!

I did put myself in his shoes. Look at his page. donation buttons, follower me here and there, rules like "no viewer stealing!". It's all with a mindset to become a bigger streamer, not sit casual and play with a few friends or steady viewers.

Although I think your perspective is spot on. Perhaps OP will read your thoughts and think "yeah, maybe that's more for me". As I said also, there is nothing wrong being a casual streamer with a low steady viewer count - but then you can't expect it to grow big either, which is the impression i get is his long term goal was from the outset. There was some other nice suggestions earlier in the thread about promoting positive attitude on the stream, instead of punishing negatives. That kind of thing promotes a casual atmosphere as well.

Negativity.. the truth... facing reality. Different perspectives.

I was perhaps mistaken when I told you to stop streaming per say. But don't expect to be a big twitch streamer with your attitude.

There are plenty of casual gamers on twitch, it's not only for pro's or hardcore gamers. But viewer numbers will reflect that so getting viewers up should not be a goal in itself for you. Your priorities, capabilities and dedication for this is just non-existent imo.

posted a message on Diablo 3 Stream...failing at it, it seems!

No one cares if 4 hours a week is A LOT for YOU. No one cares if you have a kid, a wife, 3 fulltime jobs on the side and streaming basically takes up 100% of your free time... so you are really dedicated, right? I call BS! (btw 4 hours must be a joke, did you write that wrong? You want to be a twitch streamer and compete with channels that stream 80+ hours a week, by streaming 4? lol).

Everyone and their mother thinks if they start a twitch channel or YouTube that views will just come rolling in and a month later, the $$. You are a dime a dozen and majority of streams sucks or are inconsistent.

Reminds me a bit about this dude called Sic Avenger, he spammed forum here, clickbaiting for his youtube channel/twitch channel. and this was the video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_WkB2TB8so

Worst piece of s.. I have seen in a long time. I watched it though and spend a lot of time trying to help him out on how to improve, but totally wasted my time apparently. His videos are still the worst quality ever, and he's still pulling like 200 views on a video.

It's really not that hard. Watch some popular streams see what they do, Watch some good youtube channels like rhykker, quinn69 etc.

They have ACTUAL CONTENT, imagine that. Popular streamers are the ones that interact with viewers, doing something out of the ordinary, and actually stream a lot. It's not that hard to see what it takes to become a successfull stream.

High quality content, high quality stream, and a TON of streaming hours. If you can't provide those things, why should anyone watch you, when there are 20 other streams that are doing those things right? Of course there is the ace up the sleeve, BOOBS!! that helps :)

My best tip. Don't quit your dayjob, drop this idea about twitch streaming cause you are NOT cut out for it. You don't have the equipment, the time or the vision about what it takes to be a stream-entertainer. Save yourself some headache and focus on your family instead. Gaming is a hobby for you, treat it as such.

posted a message on Transfer gem ranks to non season

And actually I probably will play non season again. There will be a break between seasons and it's on your non season chars that you have the absolute best gear and are able to play the highest GR, where you might not have been so lucky getting the items you needed in seasonal play.

So if you really want to test the highest GR, non seasons is where it's at imo.

But yeah, we are probably doing most of the farming/grinding in seasons. Hence why we don't have time to also keep leveling our gems in non season... and that is just another reason why we should have an option to get something out of all the time/effort we put into leveling them up in season.

posted a message on Transfer gem ranks to non season

Yeah it might not be a big issue. But if you don't care about your non season character you won't care if you get the XP / items / gold transferred either?

I mean what I suggest is just consistency. For those that DO think, what blizzard intended, is a good feature, it feels like they left the gems out of the equation.

posted a message on Should gems have another level

Excellent idea. It would be an incentive for more players to push GR progression to level up their gems. The statistics you come out with are based on the current system. Ofcourse people don't care much about getting the gems up after 25/35/40+ since it just gives you very little extra. But those 50 goals seems pretty fun. It would definintely add some kind of endgame feeling for alot of players. to extend their gaming experience in diablo3, where they otherwise might have stopped playing.

posted a message on Transfer gem ranks to non season

I don't mind so much leveling up paragon's and finding new items in season. It's what it's all about - starting fresh. But some of the incentives of even playing season was that the time spent grinding it out, wouldn't be a total wash when season was over. Hence they made it possible to transfer xp/items/gold when season is over. It just seems to me as if legendary gems are in that same category, as it is something we grind to level up and not just random items.

If you farm organs/keys for hellfire, those are also useful when transferred, the ONLY thing that is useless after season is over, that we spend a lot of time on, is the gems.

posted a message on Transfer gem ranks to non season

I'm not trolling. And you can't compare it with a regular item.

A legendary gem is 100% guarantee drop if you don't have it. So it's not like some RNG thing like furnace.

It's also something you level up by grinding it out, just like you level XP up.

So yes, I need to level up a gem for my seasonal char, and my non seasonal char. But when the season is over, it gets transferred over to non season.. Hence it loses its purpose, as I cannot use it on a new season.

In season 10 I will have 10 bane of the trapped level 50, yaaa, Imagine how much time I spent, and wasted, leveling all those gems.

It would be the same as if you didn't get your XP/gold transfered, and they thought it was a good idea to do that.
