Im #56 after the wipe, not new to the game. Love it to death but since i have been playing for this long some of the things i have been reading about people complaining about for years has still gone unnoticed and un-changed. my rant wasn't supposed to make anyone mad or fight, it was simply a means to vent my anger.
Im all for constructive criticism but when i come on here every day and see the same complaints that blizzard blatantly ignores and it gets to me, Its like someone poking you in the forehead for days and days and days at a time till you finally snap.
Now with that being said, this game has come a long way and ever since RoS dropped i have put more and more hours into it, Thats good. They have done it, they brought people back by making the game playable.
Now all it needs is a little more attention to detail and this will go down as one of the "Classics" a game playable for years after release.
Besides the ability to roll every stat on a item, I agree in some sense with everything OP said. I'm still surprised people like to do a speed timed run of dungeons that give you no loot, which is the most "f you" you can do to a Diablo game. Next time they remove the hoards of mobs and just allow you to do boss fights. At least go full retard with your designing policies. Why not being able to roll all stats? well obviously because then you really only need one item of its kind, and the game becomes a race to get reagents and gold to reroll all stats to your desire. This is pretty much the trifecta scenario of going full retard on this well designed game that just needs more serious love and not design ideas from the janitor.
Haha yeah i get the item roll thing was a bit off, but just think if you could use a ramalandni'sgift to re roll a second stat, that also uses 10 souls and 2x mats then the first roll.
The complaints are valid and his response was to Holyrage, not Spiralphoenix, at least I think so. I too get frustrated when I log in to do some grifts sometimes, only to spend a lot of time doing trials, and then having a story like this one: 'ok I have 3x 42 keys, lets do them. These rifts rock, finished in half time, neat. Lets do these 45 ones. Wait, what? Winged assassins only elites? Thats nice. Jailer/vortex/etc near the entrance? Yay.'. I could list things that are really stupid and annoying in this game too, but overall - everything has been said already and maybe blizzard will decide to do something with these issues someday. They improved this game a lot already, from an 'unplayable piece of trash the only way I can enjoy is by selling items I get for real money' it once was, it actually became a seasonal fun (by seasonal I mean 'play for a while, stop for 1-2 months').
Yeah man my rant was out of anger lol. but there are things in every game that i think need fixing, and im not the only one. Blizzard can't make a game perfect for everyone . But the little thing i know wont take long to fix that have decided to ignore for what ever reason. But then again this is a game about farming and its 100% RNG based even in a time sensitive game mode, that sucks, but its the way it is and i enjoy it.

Alright just to clarify im pissed off and none of this should reflect how i feel tomorrow, i just need to type something..
First off Greater rifts, The fact that this is a timed event and you have rift guardians with affixes and abilities that let then negate damage for a set amount of time (Orlash, Fucks off for up to 6 seconds at a time not taking any damage, and does this 15-20 times in a fight, Now ill add on the gr 45 i just did he had 86 billion health)
Second, The fact that i'm more scared of certain white mobs then i am of Elites, (Example an entire gr full of winged assassins, thunder clap guy (Cant recall name) Fallen angels, All of which are pretty non avoidable damage),
Third, Elite affix combos (Vortex+jailer+arcane beams) Why ? for real, Pull you in make it so you cant move then shoot you with lazers.. all doing an insane amount of damage in high levels...
Fourth, Overall Rift guardian health, The fact that i can be 7+mins ahead when RG spawns and still not beat the timer.. (and i know your going to say my dps is shit, My play style is bad, i'm just bad,) This is false i have spent enough time on this game to know a thing or two about that class im playing.

Why the actual fuck can't i have more than 500 blood shards at a time?, Everything else has a large stack size why not BS to?.
On that note why am i limited to 5 stash tabs that are universal i might add, and the way blizzard changes gear all the time im pretty much forced to keep most of what i find, leaving damn near nothing for space left over.

Since they got rid of AH they added in an enchantress (i like the idea don't get me wrong) But don't you think since this game is now "Self found gear" they would let us re-roll as many affixes as we want?, as soon as you re-roll you cant trade with players that were in your party when the item dropped so why not?.
Also to end this, The chat system. Party chat to be specific.. I have the ability to click on clan chat when i see someones message pop up, but for example when im in "All" and chatting in clan chat, and i see a party message come up im not able to just simply click the :Party: text and start typing like i am with all others (Clan, community,whisper. ect ect)
Fuck it to leave on a less angry note, why not make use of the "PVP" arena a bit more, by adding in a test realm where you can pick a boss set the amount of health you want and shit kick him till he's dead, this would make gear changes alot more manageable if your looking for more dps without having to pull out a spread sheet of go test on ghom.
Have a timer, have a menu with a boss list, and how much health you want.
this would eliminate the need for theorycrafting and take some of the guess work out of gear changes if you can't make up your mind.
Simple and it would make use of something blizzard has already wasted time and money on...
Auto loot health potions after they introduced "Bottomless potions" into the game..
At least make it an option that you can toggle, or even better if you have a bottomless potion in your inventory you no longer pick them up :O,

The blue to yellow/white mats drops rates.. i currently have about 55k yellows and only 4k blues,2k whites.. and this is all while i totally ignore yellows in rifts to save space for blues and whites. and the fact that it costs 73 blues 5 yellows to craft bracers if i wanted them is a little off to me. the ratio is pretty bad.
But besides all of this^ Diablo 3 has come a long way since day 1, and im glad the devs have listened to the community (kinda)
Now with that being said i think my rant is over until i get pissed off about something again tomorrow and feel the need to smash my second keyboard.
So i have been trying to further understand the wizard class, and there is a few things i could use some help with. like break points of fire% over ChD or CC%.
I'd just like to point out that even $300 is way too much. That's 1.2bil gold. . . you don't need that much to gear a single character. I happen to have spent a total of $50 on gold, all of which I got from selling items through the RMAH. With that, I have geared 8 L60 chars that can easily clear MP 1-5. The kicker is I'm intentionally using less efficient builds for the sake of my enjoyment and the build guides I've been putting up. Had I focused on the best builds, there's no doubt I could have each class farming MP10 very effectively.
I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is and personally walk you through the process of purchasing items if you haven't already done so because I hate it when people waste money without realizing it. In fact, we'll take your $300 and start with the same $50 I spent. I'm betting that's plenty and that whatever we DON'T use you can donate to me, to your cookie fund, to a random stranger in this thread, to charity or whatever else you want.
I have helped many people purchase gear sets both on my stream (have stopped streaming for the moment) and via 1 on 1 sessions like what I'm offering you. I have an strong understanding of the game and know how to work the AH. I can actually TEACH you how to continue buying good gear rather than just pointing you in the direction and hoping you don't mess up.

I would like to be able to farm mp1-3 without the risk of dying... but i understand it's as much skill based as it is item based.
I just might take you up on that offer but i'm pretty set on what i want to spend.
The best geared players in the world are not farming MP10 (unless key farming).
For farming paragon levels, the most efficient MP usually MP0. This is because lets imagine a mob has 100HP and you have 100Damage per hit, it will take you 1 hit to kill that mob. Lets imagine that the mob give 100XP. (All these numbers are made up btw for the example). This means if you kill 100 mobs an hour, you gain 10,000 xp.
If you switch to MP1, the mobs have 150% HP. So in this example they have 150HP. You are still doing 100 damage which means it will take you 2 hits to kill the mob. It basically takes you 2x the speed to kill each mob, but you gain LESS than 2x the benifits. Even with 1.0.7 the gain is not 100% per MP level. So with the current numbers of 10% bonus EXP, you will get 110XP per kill. However because it took you 2 hits not 1, you can only kill 50 mobs per hour. This means your xp/h on MP1 is 50x110 = 5,500xp.
As you can see, MP0 was giving you 10kXP/hour but MP1 was giving you 5.5k/h. Which means MP0 is better. Because of the way the scaling works, even with the BEST gear in the game, you will never be able to reach MP10 and farm efficiently for paragon.
(Please note that this is not the only consideration, things like travel time do factor into this and other small factors but this is the basic of the logic)
The best paragon farming spec for monk atm I think is tempest rush. I have build myself a set recently and my GF and although neither of them are perfect, and some items were bought and then I realised they were a mistake, each set cost about 50mill.
If you spent some time you could spend 100mill on a tempest rush set that would be really good for farming MP0 act 3 and 1 shotting all the mobs to be as efficient as possible. 100mill gold costs $25.
You are free to spend your money how you like, but my advice is to spend $25 and build a really nice tempest rush set while you farm paragon levels, and learn more about the game. As you learn more, you will know what stats/items/etc to go for, and will also have found items in game.
Being the top 200 geared for PvP is pointless, as there is no queue, and you can only fight people who agree to fight you. Chances are, this will be people with the same gear as you. or people who have more experience and skill than you. Which means gearing up for pvp when you are new to the game at such a high cost is a waste of money and tbh, time.
Search youtube for "tempest rush monk" and look for the video by "LastHopeForRaoha". He explains the build and also the gear. The only personal thing I changed from his build is using blade storm glyph for sweeping winds, and i cannot remember if he uses seven sided strike but I do for elitest. Blade storm = better for white mobs but not as strong as cyclone for elites. But with SevenSidedStrikes you can 1shot all eliests. Customise the build as you like. With 1.0.7 snapshot changes, chances are this will be a more standard tempest rush build anyway.
But remember, this will cost you no more than 100mill ($25) inc good crit gems and exp gems for helm.

I have been farming mp0 with what i have now just to learn how to use my build a bit more, and so far its working pretty good :), only sad thing is i haven't found a legendary yet haha still waiting on that first drop.
Firstly, select skills for your follower.
Secondly, fix your build.
Your gear should be fine for farming MP0, although not efficiently.
