I agree here. I do believe the D3 team are changing key elements, such as rewards balance, to see how it affects play style and games etc. I fully expect to see it be changed again to something more sensible and synergistic with other play modes.
The question of Cursed Chests is certainly an exciting one, and yet one we no doubt are all a bit cautious of, in terms of what it means in game mechanics. I think we will find out pretty soon. I remain excited for the direction the game is taking, it represents a significant improvement over the Vanilla D3 and I hope the team don't lose too much as they tighten the joints

Hi Kongor - another good Barb build :) I liked this one a lot too. I have been a very long time fan of ancient spear, it really rocks in RoS. Keep them coming - Cheers 0/Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep

Thanks man for making this, I really enjoyed your work on it and it is extremely well thought out. I would absolutely love to see this in Diablo 3, and it is consistent with some of the Competitive PvE elements we see Blizzard exploring. One thing I hope Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm teach Blizzard (as well as watching League of Legends) is that competitive elements take games to a new level of community interest. It would be sad to think D3 would miss that opportunity.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Nice job here!

This is a really important point. I am enjoying the hell out of RoS beta at the moment, but it does not mean I cannot see any problems, I am simply choosing not to get bent out of shape about them. The game will undergo many more changes and we will get to see them up close. This transparent development process (to a degree) is a great idea, and we see it in Hearthstone too, and I am sure we will see it with Heroes of the Storm. Give it time to breathe and grow. Whether every player/employee/heckler likes it or not is largely irrelevant - do you like what you see so far? Maybe wait until playing it.Quote from Aerisot
Guys/Gals, it is still in Alpha...it hasn't even entered the real beta yet..relax lol
I could play any game I want, there is a good reason I have invested thousands of hours into D3.

The amount of info posted as fact about the relative efficiency of Mp0/1 v MP10 is pretty scary. I didn't know there was still such confusion out there. Crazy.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep

You want to sprint/ww through them, drop a rend on them and when they are almost dead, move on to the next pack. Rinse repeat. You want to also use the elite packs to keep your streak alive, by damaging but not killing them, so you are engaged in combat. Use their high life to your advantage. Make sure you have 24% run speed and can keep wrath up permanently. I have used this method to get 600+ kill streaks on the new 1.0.8 Act 1. EnjoyPosted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Hi Barbarians,Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
As many of you know there is an Exp run going about that gives upwards of 120M-170M Exp per hour, by running Keep Depths 2 or Arreat Crater 2. Many people are talking about it, but few are explaining it well.
I have a 3 part series on the run, which I do daily on my Barb. For those of you new to it, the first part is below. The second part gives tips for surviving the run and doing it better, and the third will be up tonight, and it gives a detailed build guide on the run. Enjoy, and let me know if you have any questions.
