I'm not sure there is any spread sheet or calculator that is fully updated for 2.0.1 yet. I personally don't use any spread sheet but just calculate elemental damage "by hand". Most of the 2.0.1 builds are just best to be tested, this is the time of actually putting things to practice rather than theorycrafting (and I say this is as someone who loves theorycrafting).
If you find an updated spread sheet for 2.0.1 I'd be thankful if you could share it though. However, in 3 weeks all those become obsolete again... or at least need updates.

Ha, awesome! Just included this information in the FAQ (http://www.diablofans.com/forums/diablo-iii-general-forums/diablo-iii-general-discussion/82430-2-0-1-frequently-asked-questions-and-transition-to#ros-xmog)Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
The answer is: all rare designs will be unlocked as you level up the Mystic. More information if you click on the link ;-)

You should not open one portal at a time, but always wait until you have three portals, yes. Or even better, join a group of other people so you can share portals. Also makes the event much easier.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

I was exaggerating there ;-)Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I don't have that item, just trying to highlight that someone might use it. I have to admit though that I misread (misunderstood) "haunt" in this example. Yeah, in that case I'm not sure what the use is, I thought it would be more of a fear effect, no idea why I thought it would be like that.
Quote from Shad3slayer
"All your items are indestructible"
/care as repair costs are negligible nowadays anyway... maybe one day when they introduce ethereal items
And yeah that Haunt on chest open is useless too. I know you can, like Bagstone, make some kind of argument in favor of each property, but in general they're just shit and you wouldn't ever use the item because of it, unless it was an upgrade anyway.
Yeah, I misunderstood what Haunt means here, it sounds indeed pretty useless.
The no-repair shoulders are absolutely awesome though, I love them. Wearing them all the time.

That was already confirmed weeks ago ;-)Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
But maybe it's something I could put into my FAQ.

No, not every item has one of these game-breaking affixes. Some legendaries just offer an affix that usually doesn't roll on that slot, i.e., Tyrael's Might gives MS on chest; it's not game-breaking, but might be useful for some.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
If you have 300 legendaries there are always some that are better and some that are worse. You cannot possibly have 300 equally good items. It's just impossible.
Yeah, there are some legendaries with special affixes that not everyone likes, i.e., I'm not too keen on this one. But I'm sure some HC players like the chest.

With that thing you can cross the Core of Arreat almost without being touched by enemies, because despite the fact that it's a small area there are always plenty of chests.Quote from inzynier_osamix
got something like this on a belt: "Haunt is cast on 5 nearby enemies when you open a chest".
how many times do you open a chest mid-fight? and how many chests are there really.

Are you going back to the mode where you try super hard to bash everything?Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I want that legendary. Sooooo often I just want to teleport but can't because there is this annoying monster bugging me. Kill it, start teleport, at 85% another stupid Succubus hits me from off the screen. And so on. Keep that legendary in your inventory, and in case you want to TP out, just swap it. Also helps a lot if you lost your group in a run with other people and want to TP out, for example if you have found an elite pack and you don't just want to kill it alone or kite it until the other TP'ed to you.
It's not the first time you hate a legendary that I really like, maybe we should play together and you give me that stuff.

You get a "survival bonus" every time you are below 10% health and exit combat (which may just be if you run away and don't hit anything for a couple of seconds). There's also the "Survivor" achievement. I have that chest as well, but since I still didn't get the Survivor achievement after hundreds of hours of playtime, I don't think it's worth it.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Edit: Corrected my mistake about how survival bonus works. Thanks halvlitern for pointing that out.

No, character slots. Sorry :-) 2 from the expansion, 3 from CE.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
