I, Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, The God, bestow YET ANOTHER minor blessing to you, this one extending to your family also!

    What synergies well with NOTHING?

    [Spoiler: Anything]

So, basic idea synergies well with existing Paragon deep nothingness...

A divine question, for yet another blessing:

Would the "Globes of Temporary Buff" - ahhhh, to divine being EVERYTHING is temporary! Except Diablo 2! Which is ETERNAL! ...anyway, would the "Globes of Temporary Buff" will be abused by plebeians only to buff existing, already overpowered skills? If so, the bonus should vary (less for most overpowered skills/runes, more for non-used ones), otherwise the effect is basically just in increasing existing disbalances!

The God declares that, most likely, you are wasting your skills here, just as The God wasted his. Margaritas ante porcos! Mea culpa, Mea culpa, Mea maxima culpa...

Your posts and your website would do better using plain English and less fluff to articulate your points .. mosts people including myself have a "short attention spam"( your website :P). If you keep up the online persona 'the Gods' words will not be listened to.. I am an atheist so I barely listen to the Gods as it is..
Not trying to troll you, just think that since you have put the effort into creating a website to put your points across, then know your audience.

    edry knows his audience!

Divine being doesn't care about opinions. If heavenly word isn't percieved well, by plain english speakers, it bothers him not - it never did for the past two millenia. Divine website was made in time of patch 1.04, and wasn't updated since. However, it's still quite relevant, which speaks enough about divine wisdom.

Plebeians have short attention spam to read X lines post, and have enough to read CAREFULLY entire OP? The God doubts both claims...

And inablity to coherently formulate an aswer regarding basically ONLY meaningful question asked to OP:

"why/if system uses most overpowered skills and improves them further"

speaks much about nature of men. English is not a native language of Gods - for that matter, none of them speaks it at all, so this is basically a gift...

posted a message on [Suggestion]: The Mystic [Pt. 1] - Seals
The God bestows a minor blessing on you for your hard work.

The God predicts that this will never be implemented by Blizzard, as it gives too much depth to the game, made for frailest of the frail minds of men.

A heavenly wisdom is puzzled by a key question: Why does effects done by that amphibious animal consists of primary large quantities of IAS/CC/CD, as a bulk of build? The weapon imbued with the blood of the innocent mammal will far exceed the ones find in a more conventional way, and ultimately replace it. As this is not necessarily a bad thing in the eyes of divine being, it adds a question - would the change render obsolete any farming for not-white (unwhite!) items? No divine love lost, but still? Answer this coherently, mortal, and receive another small blessing, no matter how vain perspectives of your, admittingly interesting, suggestion may be!

I, Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, commend you on Photoshop work done!

if you played diablo II, you may remember that both left and right button had damage indicator - not one used for all, but two separate one. what would hurt to have damage (or dps) listed for all used skills in 'details' section? they are only VI of them
This is an old fight of mine, both here and on the official forum, but I never had any support.

well, you do have it now. divine wisdom percept you as a worthy, and there is no need to fight this or any other battle alone. divine site has only one final purpose - to draw attention of developers on official forums - after it's perfected, of course.

but as mortals tend to post trivial nonsense each 0.1 sec on official forum, only a controversial thread supported by several people who will post replies (and perhaps argue in process - looks kinda jerry springer but it works - it's what The God did on purpose recently on site with item-data compiled - and get infraction in reward, but The God is above it - result is that site got lots more publicity and consensus that it should be a sticky, which haven't happened - you can't win all the time)

similar is with the divine site - it will never succeed, if not noticed by developers. is the work for nothing? no - it is unselfish try to make game better, through number of articles.

now, i one person has one really good idea wanting to fight for it - it is likely that more of that waits where it came from. the site is generally open for everyone having a constructive ideas, but will not be for unworthy ones.

there. The God spoken while watching the tv!

    @bagstone

The God will use some of divine time to clarify:

I, Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, The God, by "DPS as a concept" have in mind DPS value shown in character screen. by 'more data', The God has one more field in character screen - "Damage" which doesn't include any attack speed modifiers, and is intended for mortals to cope more easily with things like 'CCCXV% weapon damage'. for a skill like comet, attack speed has no influence at all, and mortals shouldn't be confused into believing that comet damage grew bigger cause of some attack speed related item. The God fails to see anything wrong with this request, so it is correct!

by 'more data in details screen' The God considers that each skill should have expected damage listed in "details" - they are called details, aren't they? don't look them if you don't want to!

    but, there's more:
"As a reminder, we don't permit the use of hacks or other third-party software in conjunction with Diablo III. Most of the programs out there that are intended for use with the game are actually cheat programs and automation programs ("bots") that exploit Diablo III's mechanics and provide players with an unfair advantage. However, "third-party software" also refers to any file or program that attempts to:
Obtain information about Diablo III that's not normally available to the player
    "

a blizzard "blue post"! not to obtain information not normally available to the player, really.

and in patch note, tell a large tale about how 'procs are being modified'? where are 'procs' defined, or even mentioned, aside from patch nores, in blizzard site? explained? or when life steal was over-nerfed: players, of course, had previously known that life-steal gets lower by difficulty level? and it is indicated - where? so, The God ignores blizzard, all the blue posts 'commands' as they have no weight, and continue to visit data-miners sites, in search for even greater wisdom, hidden from us.

[blizzard had probably in mind 'map-hacks', but, as a lot of things, this is easy to misinterpret, as The God purposely did - there is too much data not normally available to the players - way, way too much]

if you played diablo II, you may remember that both left and right button had damage indicator - not one used for all, but two separate one. what would hurt to have damage (or dps) listed for all used skills in 'details' section? they are only VI of them

I, Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, The God, declare that there isn't any data, blue post or not. The 'dps' as concept is applicable only in weapon situations, and only when cooldown is listed. whatif a skill with cooldown is used and there is 'CCCXV% weapon damage'? Should The God go and sum up all weapon and all other damage sources, min and max, then divide it by two? and then multiply by CCCXV% AND ruling attribute AND bonuses? or game should do it? or rely on arbitrary chosen, often misleading number who claims that know it all? whatare the cooldowns of basic spells? should they be measured individually, or rather listed in tooltips?

[read more on this and other exciting topics, on divine site, updated soon!]

The God declare Bllzzard has to put relevant data on math and game concept on SITE, visible and easy to find by everyone, and NOT partially reveal it through 'blue posts'! Very unprofessional! [The God sighs]

I, Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, The God, with great regret inform you both that your computer knowledge is very questionable. Therefore, you should both refrain of spreading paranoia, yes, that's the word for having unhealthy and overstated fear. Furthermore, having not be able to see address cause it is written in plain text is, like, contradicting itself - therefore The God will share some of divine wisdom and say that it's actually way safer than real link which doesn't lead where it says it does.

There are free sites (other than hospitals, which often aren't cheep at all), that can help paranoid people check the links they're about to visit beforehand. There are also browser settings that disable redirecting. And practices that help people not get in trouble.

What was not nice and forced divine intervention, was immediately question one person's credibility and goodwill, for personal general lack of knowledge of safe internet behavior. And 'being not a bot' is worse excuse ever

The God wasn't hacked in over MM years, and last time he was, it was an axe accident.

I, Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, The God, after being quoted, feel the need to renounce my earlier opinions of both 'force move' move or 'natural attack', in favor of full rebind of all buttons!

'natural attack' still may be useful, giving free chill or other more or less interesting effects and effectually VII skill buttons. the idea lost its value due constant buffing of primaries, otherwise it was idea worthy of infinite intellect of The God. Example, for less enlightened: DH shoots chains-what-is-name for 87% dps, then use natural chill to slow enemy more for 100% dps. patches buffing ALL primaries constantly - no visible reason, The God declares, remove much of this potential use

posted a message on Two questions for players who vocally dislike the AH
I, Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, The God, declare that second question is just a verbal trap - how would you solve the legitimate need of people to drink more wine, opposing to the risk of liver diseases? except divine liver, of course! WHICH IS FINE, THANK YOU FOR ASKING! so, The God won't participate in this part of post, although divine intellect, of course, has a number of solutions for it (auction house, not the drinking - The God is satisfied with own immortality and 100% disease resistance, and choses to overlook mortals problem)

as diablo II is called upon several times, The God must remind of one thing - release date. The God, for example, had a 56k modem with internet payed per hour, so whole internet-only concept was so alien to him - it was a single player game. or, occasionally a multiplayer lan. naturally, there was CONSIDERABLY less trading in general, at least in first years - not everyone is born with same internet rights...

and then the items found were God's own. each and every one. The God used had a weak item placeholder(s) in build for months - The Gods chosen character, a mf-sorceress God developed with love for years, doing endless amount of farming and using, basically, as a item-generator for other, less mf-usable characters, used loved and appreciated blue +24 resist all / + 30 mf (was it? - somewhere near the max) BLUE - so, no, The God in his infinite wisdom is fully untouched by legendary-fetish and their drop-rate "problems" - after all, until the expansion there was so few unique/set items worth having. to clarify, The God uses mentioned blue still, though in possession of several tal rasha's or +2 sorceress rares. point being - in AH environment, tal rasha would be bought immediatelly, and worthier blue missed or even unpicked

and what with endless stream of unusable, semi-usable, almost usable, usable-and-great-except-that-i-clavdivs-already-have-better rares/sets/uniques? sold. vendored. in quantities. what about gold surplus? a gambling problem! countless millions used for endless rolling of rings/amulets (and countless rerolled in cube) to a very little success (thought The God had two perfect naglerings and whatnot among the rares - all FOUND) - but no regret over it, none at all.

now, what I, Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, The God, do with weak point in build in diablo III? RHETORICAL!

how much took The God to finish maximum difficulty, in hours, compared to diablo II? RHETORICAL!

can The God compare high-level unique drop in diablo II with same in diablo III? RHETORICAL!

    from Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged Series:
    - big brother, big brother, where do babies come from?
    - we've been over this before, Mokuba! like everything else - you buy them in the store

at current point, dIII is dominantly single player game, plagued with need for constant quality internet access, WITH addition of AH. internet access still being a problem - thank you, Blizzard, for having a lag in SP, and moreso in occasional MP - The God's micro was... well... godlike. before. oh, and thank you for removing 'last HP chance', it really means so much for Clavdivs - though it's usefulness in small-but-constant-lag environment with constant and annoying (and completely unnecessary) piles of... excretions over the whole screen doing constant damage. YES! THANK YOU FOR THAT IMMENSELY!

why The God doesn't play without AH (a common 'argument')? BALANCE! though it looks more appealing as time goes by...

probably more arguments on The God's mind, but this post grown too long already... if you need them - ask, The God is benevolent

    The Gods Disclaimer:
    I) I, Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, The God, DO NOT ADVOCATE PUBLICLY REMOVAL OF AH
II) I, Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, The God, STRONGLY AGREE WITH THE EXISTENCE OF RMAH AND ADVOCATE STRONGLY AGAINST REMOVING IT, AS IT IS WORTHY, SAFE AND INTERESTING ADDITION TO THE GAME
III) I, Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, The God, ADVOCATE REMOVAL OF BLACKSMITH CRAFTING ENTIRELY, FOR A REASON OF BEING A CRAP CAUSING ABUSE AND IMBALANCE AND WHATNOT (LOOK AT 'CRAFTING CHANNELS' FOR MORE CLARIFICATION)

posted a message on Divine website on game improvements
I, Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, The God, have interrupted my crucial work to commend this analysis! so, it appears that int/str secondaries 'lose uselessness' - rather than call them useful - at late-lategame!

as a trial, The God did similar test with dexterity and %dodge, though this test is doomed to be unreliable and misleading. for that reason, I, Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, The God, will INTERPRET the test results, rather then post them and mislead the mortals:

    - the higher HP is, the more useful %dodge is - The God advise absolutely no investment in dexterity until vitality is less then CD (and the level is LX, due to differences in HP formula)
    - possible investment shouldn't, in any case be greater than D (or XX% dodge) - while additional percentage can't actually hurt, in most cases direct investment in vitality pays more
    - %Life items favor %dodge investment
    - both armor and resistance favor %dodge investment

as a conclusion, The God advises 'accidental' dexterity - some is gained through leveling, and some is usually found on items anyway. pure build, consisting of only vitality and primary, would be in most cases somewhat weaker than build mixed with up-top-D-or-whatever-luck-would-have build. remember, mortals, dexterity is lesser value early-game, and grows in power only in lategame scenarios, where it can achieve several percents advantage over vitality INVESTMENT - not replacing it as first choice, but rather 'having some will help some', following the rules above

I, Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, The God, have decided that all, including challenged creatures, be allowed to roam here freely, that is how benevolent I am! Though many of them listen to the holy word in silence and get enlightened, in some cases dreadful disease causes them to speak clumsily in public! Do not be ashamed of yourself - Clavdivs, The God, accept you the way you are, with all your inadequacies. I, Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, The God, advice against verbal actions toward less-fortunate then us!

On a separate notice, I, Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, The God, have found few things possibly deadly, but cheap things, excluding Messalina, %Critical Hit, %Critical Damage and %Attack, namely:
    I) +Damage, as in rings or off-hand items
    II) +Bleed
    III) +Number of Attacks
IV) +MinMax Damage (or separated versions, indeed)

now, having in mind that normal blunt build consists of MD to MM investment in primary, and variable invested in vitality, rest being Messalina, %Critical Hit, %Critical Damage and %Attack, NO. WAIT! NOT MESSALINA! SHE REQUIRES NO INVESTMENT AT ALL UNLESS YOU MARRY HER! WHICH THE GOD ADVISE AGAINST! This is probably not a complete list, and The God would welcome additional ideas currently eluded divine intellect...

having that cleared up, we will define diverse build as build with no less than M (perharps DCCL) secondary attribute investment. now, lets see the nice Roman numbers on that:
    - for each M of primary, player gets no less than M% of initial dps (or damage, and than we'll have to use that ill-concieved dps formula)
    - currently, for a wise advice of M in secondary, player gets a one third HP equivalent (The God thanks to hal9000 for approximations), or undefined value of XXX% dodge

this results only a seriously challenged person would invest in secondaries, and helps less challenged to reap a reward of a blunt character building. to break this domination, effectiveness ~M% DPS has to be achieved (minus the glorious XXX% of HP, Blizzard kindly provided already)

so, following considerations of The God will be related in direction off creating a secondaries with either:
    I) near, and in some circumstances potentially exceeding (and in other being less than) - I% per attribute to promote diversity
II) a percentage based HP/DPS hybrid value divided among an equivalent of current max of I% of dps bonus given by primary and max of HP% given by vitality point (expressed in any current manner: pure HP, armour, resistance, but perhaps not dogdyness, too variable)
III) a HP replacement (by buffing currently useless Blizzard-given values to appropriate ones)

but ideally, a combination that allow variants of above can be found, with a little time and theorycrafting and math-analysis - and by values implemented currently, The God is inclined that Blizzard didn't do much more - extended beta leaving unusable 50% of attributes speaks loudly advocating this.

Mathematical prodigy, huh? The God could use as many analysis as he can get!

on an unrelated note - The God decided to update webpage FOR REAL. and there should be more surprises!

meanwhile, The God will continue to ponder upon wisdom of von Oberstain and HAL9000 on secondary attributes - true, they all need to have offensive characteristic, but is it safe to use any of +critical hit/damage or +attack speed? THE GOD THINKS NOT! and what else is cheap but dangerous?

nice discussion overthere, The God will ponder your arguments and include them into the website.

in a meantime, the link should be changed to unfinished website - it contains Wizard section, but some other stuff are missing - this is file-eating-dog problem, again... i should finish the site as soon as possible, probably tomorrow HAHAHAHAHAHAHA [divine humour is sometimes hard to understand]
