I can't see your problem, and you should be fine with your present setup farming at low MP levels.

There is a long discussion on TR farming at low MP level in this forum, take a look.

You're not going to do any meaningful upgrade with 100k, and in case you want to move up MP level, get some LOH on the amulet and/or rings, you shouldn't have much problem with 100k+ dps along with LS+LOH.

Your items are not quite balanced for medium DPS level, but you need major revamp on the dps items to push dps.

You're low in CC and CD to go to 100k+ range, where you need something like CC: 40+, CD: 300+.

Get more CC, CD, AS, average damage, dex to all your dps items, check with calculator for the best combo within bedget.

You have too much leech on your weapons, trade off some leech for CD, and if you'd like to add CD on top the price would be exorbitant.

To make up, get some LOH on rings and amulet instead.

In 1.0.4, we did reduce the defense with the increase of DPS, as we can pick up life globe to survive.

In 1.0.5, depending on MP level, we may need more life sustain elements, defense and/or leech.

It varies and depends very much on what you'd like to do: low level farming, uber boss killing, PVP, MP10 challenge, etc.

Bearing in mind, highest DPS doesn't mean strongest overall.

OH dps does matter, FoT hits alternatively between the two, SW depends on active weapon and some skills depends on MH only.

    Question1:

Usually higher DPS weapon on MH as some skills are based on MH, such as SSS, WoL and Cyclones.

    Question 2:

Try not to be swarmed. If you have high DPS+LS, you like being swarmed; if not try to use TR or SSS to break through.

It is not hard to improve your resist without sacrifying DPS (as long as it is under 100k DPS)

Get as much resist as possible on INNA helm+pants, chest, boots, belt and brace.

Bonus resist on jewel and glove if possible.

Easy to achieve 100k+ DPS with medium budget. In your case, you might have to trade some of your items.

There are many items you can improve, and you can give up some resist.

Get a second dps stats for the amulet, either AS or CD, same for glove and rings.

More than 100 dex on belt and brace..

INNA pants for movement and DPS, 2-piece bonus = +130dex

Weapons need upgrade too 900+ weapon dps to achieve 100k+ easier, 850+ need more dex and CD.

BTW, what is your current unbuffed paper DPS?

You lose a lot of resist wearing Tal Rasha set. Maybe you can switch to INNA set to gain 100 resist for the same DPS.

Your DPS is fine at 50k+ with additional buff from WKL, but your CC is low, push it to 35%+ for more DPS and cyclones.

Forgot to say get AS on glove and jewels as well and your resist on jewels as bonus as you're still low at it.

Choose a resist, say, cold for OWE.

Get INNA helm and pants and Vile Ward shoulder.

Get as much resist and vit, %ife as possible on chest, belt and boot.

Get CC, CD and dex on glove, brace and jewels.

Pickup radius on one item, MS on boot, LOH on amulet.

As for weapon, for DW at least LS on one weapon, otherwise as much dps, dex, cd and socket for weapons.

50M can bring you close to 100k dps with decent defense nowadays.

    Wow, cool!

Who else would like to go farming anymore?

Things are not the cheapest on American AH, 3 100% green gems less than 1M a piece, INNA helm+pants less than 3M on Asian AH.

Probably, else not possible to find so many 100% gem on chest armor and everywhere.

    Item duping spoils the game.

A bit offline for the monk forum, but top-notch monks do need this item to boost their DPS.

Does anyone know why 100% emeralds are sold on Asia AH at 1/3 the price of that at American AH?

With a supply of cheap 100% green gems, Asia monks are much more powerful.

I pushed a monk in Asia to 70k DPS from scratch (a new account) in less than 100 hours' play time.

In terms of gearing, dividng gear into groups helps to form a solid basis in defense in 1.0.4.

With 1.0.5, legendary and set items drop like flies. and a better strategy is to get the must have set and legendary items first, say INNA helm+pants, Vile Ward, etc. which are cheaper than rares of lesser stats. It turns out that I need more resist on my other pieces including jewels. The choice on AH is a bit limited, but it is not too bad as resist can always come as a bonus, and price is still mainly based on dps stats. Now, I find that the true upgrade is in the weapons and better rolled legendary/set items.
