posted a message on 250M to upgrade my Witch Doctor
Hi everyone. I've been working on my WD - here's my current gear/spec:
    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/nezeru-1609/hero/3704310
I'm currently farming mp1 and oneshotting everything but I'd like to increase my DPS so I can farm MP2 or more after the patch hits without changing my spec/playstyle.

I recently upgraded my Zuni's Pox - was comparing to 6%CC and this one did more damage.
Also recent upgrades include the amulet and weapon.

I have 250M right now to spend and another 200M fluid in auction house flips for a potential 450M to upgrade this character. I'm stuck right now - can't find a better weapon in my budget, can only marginally upgrade certain pieces of gear. What should I go for? I know my armor is terrible - I have like five different sets that I use but this one is the only one I have with pickup radius. But I could only add about 40INT on that.

I have another build with Tyrael's Might 3os for movement speed and rare bracers, but I lose too much pickup radius for it to be viable in low MP. I also have a 37yard set that doesn't use Thing of the Deep, but uses Skorn and does a bit more DPS. I really don't like Skorn though as I like to be able to cast Acid Rain just a tad faster.

posted a message on how come so many high damage wds use tal rashas amu instead of a rare amu?
Only if the spell deals its damage as Physical. (Sacrifice?)

I did the math and a decent Tal Rasha's Allegiance would add several thousand damage over my 100int 95%critdmg 9.5%cc amulet because of the elemental damage.

posted a message on Need Advice On What To Upgrade.
Belt: Get a Witching Hour. Single biggest upgrade for you I think.
Helm: Probably Zunimassa's Vision. Crit chance if you can afford it otherwise get the Int as high as you can.
Armor: Zunimassa's Marrow. Best for the price.
Consider Lacuni Prowlers for the movement speed.
    Gems :)
Look for pants with all resist, 150+ vit, and int. They're pretty cheap.
Definitely change your mojo. A decent Thing of the Deep is very cheap, or an Uhkapian Serpent if you don't care about the pickup radius. You'll have lots of mana regen already from 4pc Zunimassa set bonus if you've followed my other advice.
Try to get gloves with crit damage as well as crit chance.
Try to get an amulet with crit damage as well as crit chance.
Try to get a ring with crit damage and crit chance.

Change your skills. Look around the forum - there are lots of build suggestions, and there are lots of problems with your build.

posted a message on WD Build Improvements please
With the build as you have it now, you aren't using a rune on Sacrifice (I like Provoke the Pack), your weapon has high attack speed (bad for a witch doctor - you would prefer to do more damage per hit and attack less often so you never have any mana issues), and I would replace Gargantuan with Summon Zombie Dogs - Final Gift (it synergizes well with Circle of Life because when an enemy dies and it triggers spawning as a dog, it counts as your dog dying and there's a 15% chance to drop a health globe, which synergizes well with Gruesome Feast).

Poison Darts is in my opinion a totally wasted slot. Acid Cloud is a much better attack in all situations, as you shouldn't be out of mana. I would use either Horrify with Stalker for additional movement speed, or Mass Confusion with Paranoia for additional damage, and put Acid Cloud on left click, Actually, I just realized you aren't using Spirit Walk. Spirit Walk is amazing - you can use it for more mana if you want (Honored Guest), more life, longer time, it gives you more movement speed, and makes it so you don't take damage from Reflects... I would use that over Grasp of the Dead. With your build (not using Zombie Bears) there is no real reason to slow your enemies down.

My doctor: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Nezeru-1609/hero/3704310 (mp0 farming spec - I have a lot more resistances by swapping out my Hellfire Ring with Litany of the Undaunted, I normally use Uhkapian Serpent and a Zombie Bears spec for higher MPs)

    posted a message on [GUIDE] ikigai's 100m exp/hr Barb.
A couple of improvements I think you can make to ramp the experience way up:

I really don't agree with skipping out on Rend. Rend (with the increased range rune) should one-shot all non-shielding elites if you have reasonable gear and a Skorn (there's no reason to dual-wield WW unless your gear is completely ridiculous)

My barb runs with 300% MF and about 120M exp/hr (on average, not high-end) with Leoric's/Hellfire and same on follower, 122k DPS with Weapons Master, 50k health, 400 all res. The spec I use is:
Bash/Instigation (whatever rune is fine, I like getting more Fury)
    Whirlwind/Hurricane
Rend/Ravage (I only cast this on elites, it one-shots literally everything that doesn't have shielding)
    Battle Rage/Into the Fray
Sprint/Run Like The Wind (Marathon is also good but the tornadoes help to keep up Fury)
    War Cry/Charge! (fury regenerator)
Passives: Weapons Master, Animosity (is that the fury regen +20% one? if not it's whatever that is), Unforgiving

This works better with 5pc IK (you still use Unforgiving - IK 5pc is buggy and doesn't work as intended 90% of the time but it does stop your Fury from degenerating. Why would your Fury degenerate?)

I do several different runs that pull about the same exp/hr but I add Keep3 to my runs because it's quite efficient once you know the possible layouts. Also more uptime of 5stack without doing inefficient areas. If you end up having to backtrack it's better to go through town to Keep1 though.

But Rend/Ravage is much better than Overpower and any other way of killing elites. If you take more than a split second to kill an elite you are wasting time.

posted a message on Sledge fist vs balanced dagger
I've tried both azurewrath and sledge fist vs zoltun kulle and siegebreaker but as they're incredibly easy on mp10 with either one I think sledge fist does more for the party. Keeping Kulle stunned and killing him in a couple of minutes by myself with 3 players in an mp10 game is more useful than freezing him a lot of the time, although I would kill him a bit faster with azurewrath. For the siegebreaker I switch back to my dagger after Kulle dies.

posted a message on Sledge fist vs balanced dagger
Hi. I'm new to playing my monk again after a long break of almost exclusively playing my witch doctor. I picked up some gear and am testing the difference between using sledge fist and a shield (2.26 aps) vs balanced basilard and shield (2.61aps). The basilard does way more damage, but maybe sledge fist is better for ubers? I've also seen people use azurewrath for ubers, which ones is this useful for?

Currently sitting at 7152.08 unbuffed DPS with 654 all resist and 4856 armor with 1675dex 1091vit 49230 health.

My snapshot set has 11.5% cc 495% crit damage 2547 dex +20% Sweeping Wind damage +25% damage vs elites
Switch set has 2.61aps 56.5% crit chance 50% crit dmg

Passives are fleet footed, resolve, one with everything

    Any advice would be appreciated.

60 second kill at 138.4mil hp with 8324.85 sheet dps = 2.31 million damage per second with sledge fist :)
I'll test this with my balanced basilard next, it'll be much quicker for sure.

    posted a message on [PriceCheck] Amulet, 100INT 92VIT 94%CDMG 9.5%CC 37PR
All stats are in the topic. Amulet, 100 intelligence, 92 vitality, 94% crit damage, 9.5% crit chance, 37 physical resist. It's perfect for my Witch Doctor, but I'd sell it at the right price. Just wondering how much it's worth.

posted a message on 1.04 WD builds
About LOH builds not working post-Vision Quest change...really?? Have you tried Plague of Toads with Rain of Toads rune and 1000+ Life on Hit? Using this build I can easily tank my way through act 4 Inferno with maybe a couple of deaths. My main build right now is a Grave Injustice build focusing on keeping Spirit Walk active to walk through white mobs (my DPS is around 60k base) but it will get a lot better once I get the new Thing of the Deep, which comes with +20 pickup radius. With this build I farm act 3 very easily, but LOH builds work just fine. Rain of Toads is insane, it hits so many times per second, my life bar never goes below halfway when fighting most mobs and standing in multiple desecrators. The basic build I was using was Rain of Toads on left click, Grasp of the Dead (Unbreakable Grasp) on right click, Spirit Walk (Healing Journey), Horrify (Frightening Aspect), and 3 and 4 can be just about anything. I like having Zombie Bears available for burst damage, and Soul Harvest is useful post-patch too with Vengeful Spirit.
