1. Monk, they're cheap and easy to gear. Just get a specific res + all res and OWE and you're all set.
2. Depends on your dps/gear, but I say act 1 for solo, you'll get more kill per hour. If your group have great dps act 2 and even 3 are possible.
3. Not sure, at the high end dex gear tend to be more expensive than str gear (from my experience anyway).
Kept hearing about barb and monk having an easier time on this boss, but what exactly should they do? Would be great if I can drag my barb/monk friend to tank this for me.
I just got to act 3 on my monk, and he got destroyed pretty badly, so I'm thinking maybe melee/range damage reduction is the answer.
But how do the melee and range damage reduction work? Does the % work on top of damage reduction provided by armor?
For example 60% armor + 4% melee/range = 64% reduction, or does it only reduce the damage after (or before) the armor? Making it less effective.
In the end, is it worth it getting melee/range damage reduction for a monk?
