After playing a fullon tank (with no more than 20k DPS) prepatch 1.0.3. I recently started playing again and decided to get me some crit gear to improve my DPS while still keeping enough survivability to quickly farm act3. I usually farm with a glass cannon wizard so it's important I don't die.
I was wondering if you guys could have a look at my gear and give some advice on upgrades to improve DPS while still keeping my defenses intact (atleast to a level I can manage almost all packs in a3).
I myself was thinking of getting a critdamage/socket weapon next, even though it will greatly reduce my LOH.
What do you guys think?
I've been doing Act 1 runs for a while now. I run it with around 160 MF, and think I could easily go for more.
Going Festering Woods -> Leorics Manor (and Watchtower) -> Cemetary of the Forsaken -> Warden/Butcher. Made several millions in a few days this way
I'm not going to urge you to get certain stats, because I don't feel like I've tried out enough to know exactly what does and doesn't work, all I can say is that I finished Inferno yesterday with fairly much ease, and I wouldn't call my gear great.
My first question would be; what is your block chance and block amount?
Anywho, I had a very similar build to yours, though I also had Superstition instead of Bloodthirst. I also did not have Ignore Pain but used Earthquake together with WoTB to seriously harm the elites I was facing.
Rest of my stats were something close to (with War Cry and enchantress)
11k armor
45k HP only
13k DPS
over 1k+ all resists
550ish LOH
40% block
Again, Im not sure if this advice is the best, I just thought I'd share what worked for me. I still had to outrun 2-3 packs in act 3 and 4 combined though.
