I think the main problem with the game is Melee damage atm, there are a lot of builds with other classes that work realy well to some point. For example Sunwuko Build (i have a DH & MONK) its really fun but u can't roll without dual unitiy on higher grifts, and by higher i mean 25-28... where on those grifts my DH is facerolling it. Once you get dual unity sure, you can to some point farm gr35 or 36...

I, for example can't play with friends using my monk, unless i change it to support. Because of unity buff. There is no point on having a melee dps currently on party play.

Thats why i think they need to buff the melee reduction damage. If melees got permantent dual-unity-type buff, the game should feel more balanced.
They'd have to increase the DR on Melee form 30% to something like 65% in order for it to feel "balanced". And even then "hybrid ranged" builds would still be worthless (since they're played by the traditionally ranged classes, who have no DR).

On the other hand they could just flatten damage scaling past GRift 30, or remove it altogether. That agffects ALL builds that rely on having to be hit, including "hybrid ranged" and channeling builds.
    Completly agree

If they increased DR on melees to something like %65 melees could have a chance on higher grifts group play playing as dps.

And to all the people who says re-gear. Please find me ingame and give me 10m and i will re gear. Because if after the patch things arent balanced how do i farm act3? do i have to go back to act 1 to regear? thats a quit for me
Well if you went to act 3 without the gear to farm it by just stacking ias and building a heavy glas cannon, then you aren't ready to farm act 3 and should get back to act 1. Remember, there are also highlvl drops in act 1 then.

Just as rainbow said, you could do that by only spending a few millions, where others had to spend 20 million to even see a glimpse of act 3.

I spended 50m for my equip not "only a few million"

Already changed from a speed wep to a dmg one so I will probably not be hit so hard.

I dont really feel sorry for any dh's atm, they got loads of crit from the start so they can just stack crit damage and they seem to be the strongest char atm.

How do we get LOADS of crit form the start?

    ----

What I'm worried about is if they are actualy nerfing inferno and nerfing ppl damage output by 33%. For the nerf to inferno to be actualy a nerf they will need to make it more than 30% nerf to mobs hp, because if not after te patch It will be more dificult to 3/4 of the players. Because i don't know a single player who did't stack IAS to begin with.

So, If today i farming act3 with 62k dps 26khp as a DH, tomorow i will have 44k dps 26k hp, i can buy a few things here and there and pump my dps to 50k maybe 52k, %17 less dps, if the mobs have %20 less hp it will mean faster farm.

What bothers me more is the fact that, for example, my weapon will go from 1254.7 to 1116 over the night. from a 15m weapon to a 4m weapon.

I totaly understand the nerf on rings amulet and gloves, what i dont understand is on weapons.

FFS who saids we DH have 250k dps? even 150kDPS? the only person i know that has 150kdps WITHOUT Sharpshooter is Athene an he has a fucking army farming for him.

Sharshooter gives you 3% crit everysecond you dont attack a mob, if you atack a mob you have 1 second before sharpshooters restarts. So all the noobs out there that you see with 200k dps they probably have 60k dps without sharpshooter. Its like taking into acout the dps of a wizz with archon up to actualy nerf that class to make less dps without archon. It just doesnt make sense. Its like nerfing frenzy because is making a barb attack to fast.

And my equip is probably worth something like 50m 60m

They aren't nerfing IAS. They are comparatively buffing every item without IAS. As a 2 perceter I approve of this change since it will bring me closer to the masses. Attack speed was so good items without it essentially had no value.
That's just a very strange - and flawed - perception. They're nerfing IAS, not buffing eveything else. I do realize that the two are pretty much the same thing, but comparatively buffing other items would mean you had no resulting DPS loss.
The end effect in itemization is the same, yes, but there's a distinct difference :)

I dont even use SS you know, Rings and amulet are 10k and 20k gold valued. Thats why i dont have crit chance nor crit damage.

You might want to upgrade your items instead of complaining then to be honest. If you're sad that you have 90k dps when your gear is bad, that makes me think the change is for the better... :/

90k dps ???? 90k dps with sharpshooter. sharpshooter only last 1 second

It really sucks that like 25% of high-end weapons are going to take massive nerfs in damage. 1200 DPS crossbows will suddenly become 1000 DPS crossbows and people will lose tens of millions of gold on that.

The nerf on Armor is fine and will be ok, but most IAS weapons are just going to go to the shitter after this nerf.

Thats what i'm trying to say. nerfin IAS on armor is OK. but on weapons seems a little to extreame. My bow is losing %14 ias to the nerf, only that nerf to my weapon is making me lose 10k dps (62k to 52k) and bringin down my bow in value by almost 10m.

I too think that ias was OP before the nerf, dont get me wrong, But 55% nerf to a stat over a night seems and overkill, And also nerfin weapons in the process?.

I don't know, but diablo series was always about feeling overpowered and not about encounters and dificulty, at the 3 years i played diablo 2 i never saw a post Talking about how dificult inferno(hell) was or how a stat was more powerfull than other, ppl just builded their characters for PVP, and anyone saying this kind of game are pve based are seriusly wrong.

As a DH the upcoming IAS nerf will hit me hard. But i never expected to be such a harsh nerf

    http://d3db.com/news...tes-unofficial/

Using a Damage calculator i've been using frequenly to determine my dps it seems we, DHS and surely monks, WD's, etc. will lose a lot of dps.

    edit: fixed
