    Cookie cutter or not, it works....At any rate i am at Act 2 now...And i know 1 thing for sure : "Channel is BAD" that's pretty much it. Creative or not you need to do constant damage while moving and it is way harder with a skill that forces you to stand to cast. I used Disintegrate for most of the time and changed to Orb only recently and my life is like 1000 times easier

    Well i think i can sacrifice force push for fracture image

    I think i have decent gear regardless and i cannot really sacrifice HP for my damage because as said above, too low HP and you're one shotted.

    About Hydra, i think i'll pass it still because i can do way bigger damage output with useable skills like Orb and Magic Missle and the extra few ticks are just not worth it because i move A LOT and mobs never stay on those venom stacks, when the Arcane Hydra is just not doing enough damage to take it as a skill....

    Well i'll try that out ones i am home =/ but that means i'll have to sacrifice either Glass Cannon or Astral Presence for that which will reduce either my damage or maximum AP. I wonder if sacrificing Glavanizing Ward for the Illusionist is worth it

    What i'll suggest is re-look your skills....

    Personally i got to Inferno with 18k damage with Magic Weapon....But couldn't survive much. Your problem though is the lack of damage you can do....Your signature is useless, try magic missile with either split or seeker. Besides that the nuke should be either Disintegrate with whatever rune you like (Except the one that makes it a cone) or the Arcane orb with Celestial rune....

    Force armor is great, other then this i suggest taking a hydra to damage foes while you kite. That was my build for Act 1 and worked perfect! Till about after Mahgda Act 2 =/ after that you should re-look your skills or gear

    Well first thing i think that channeling skills are not as effective as the rest because to make damage you have to stand, which makes you get more chance to get damage. About Diamond Skin...Ehhh...It absorbs only 1 hit >_> ... Useless =/ Teleport will be way more effective IMO

    Now, about Hydra...Why is Venom Hydra is so effective? =/ I used Arcane Hydra so far because of the AOE...What the Venom is beneficial for? Why everyone is always saying to get it? And what can i sacrifice to get it?

    I share your troubles in the aquaducts and caves, We need a nice area to kite and there you don't have that. I try to solve this issue as best I can, using Mirror images (5 of them) and Teleport (fracture) so they block the mobs and I get some time to do some dmg. Atm I use Electrocute (Forked Lightning) and Arcane Torrent (Arcane Mines) and building a crit build to make use of the Critical Mass passive. This will allow me to cast Mirror Image or Teleport more often and I can keep on blocking the champions in small hallways.

    So to conclude, try Mirror Image instead of Blizzard. I think that the slow you get from your arcane spells is enough to keep the enemies away from you if you use Mirror Images to block their path.


    Interesting idea about the mirror image...Will be trying that as a tactic for now, see how it works

    So! I've been lurking in this act for AGES now. I have killed Maghda with quite ease and getting to her is quite not a problem for me at all (Currently farming her). My problem is with EVERYTHING that comes right after her! There are LOADS of dungeons which are limited in space, making kitting quite impossible (All the caves and aquaducts) and more over, i just have no idea how to kill monsters which have "Fast" affix (Or Fire Chain + Teleport) and all the general problematic affixes to wizards like shields + jail + mortal and so on.

    My current stats are :

    Int - 1429
    HP - 27.5k
    Damage -23.5k
    Crit Chace - 11%
    Crit Damage - 50%
    APS - 2.43
    Dodge - 14.4%
    Damage Reduc. - 43%
    Almost all Resist. -35%
    LoH - 493
    Movement Speed - 11%

    I am pretty good at kitting...But HELL! There are too many "Accursed" or other pesky fast mobs and a very small space to kite them.

    Please anyone give me an insight on what i am doing wrong, or what i need to improve gear wise/skill wise to have my life easier
