Working on a Crusader for seasons. I've had a gift drop but basically 0 good weapons in many runs.
The other night I got this:
Which seems pretty terrible to me, although it would be really nice to go w/holy shotgun instead of my current shieldspam build.
I still need 1 piece of akkhans and rorg before the rest of my set is finished and I could convert to holy shotgun. If I don't find another fotf before then, do you think it's worth rerolling the AS into 10% damage and using the gift, or should I just hold onto it?
FWIW, I already have leorics+vigilante for CDR, and can hit 55.6 without the CDR on weapon.
The stats make it better. High dex and crit damage.
This is true, but I also notice you have sharpshooter active in those screenshots. Having sharpshooter with a 100% crit chance will cause your tooltips to overvalue critical hit damage. The actual damage boost won't be as dramatic as you obviously don't have 100% crit chance all the time. I suggest taking sharpshooter off before you compare gear.
Your total intelligence is good for Act 3, but you need to specialize in a secondary offensive stat, like crit or attack speed. I don't know what build you're using, but if you're going to stick with a 2h weapon I would find another 2h with crit damage or an empty socket for an emerald, and then get new rings/amulet/gloves/bracers/helm to maximize crit chance and crit damage. If you can do that while keeping roughly the same amount of intelligence (1600~1800) then you should be just fine in Act 3.
Would you mind posting some of your gear for comparison's sake? I have a very similar build I recently switched to. I'm only missing a good weapon and I really want to know what your weapon is like to get crits that high. The highest I've seen with my current build is 120k, and I'm very close to your intel/crit damage. Of course, I'm also using a 1h+source. I didn't think I would gain that much damage per orb by changing to 2h, but if 300k crits are possible then I'll definitely start looking for a 2h weapon. I really prefer the 'bursty' style of this build. Fights are over a lot faster and I have to kite less than the piercing orb/blizz/hydra build I was using.
